I adore John Lithgow, but, dammit! I'm tired of Michael Emerson not getting the recognition he deserves.

I don't normally take much notice of these type of awards but it is good to see Christoph Waltz getting recognition for his role in Inglorious Basterds.:tmb:

Not seen Sherlock Holmes yet, was looking forward to it until I heard Guy Ritchie was the director.:( I am a fan of Robert Downey Jr tho.

Up was really good as well.

I'm soo happy Glee won. Sorta the underdogs in their category, but very deserving. :tmb:

I hate Mo'Nique and I just feel that this movie Prescious is sooo overrated.

Other than that, I was happy for Michael C Hall because he finally got the recognition. I was so sad when I found out he has cncer.

I am also glad for Meryl Streep because Julie & Julia was sooo good.

Amy Adams looked gorgeous, she was glowing, I'm sure her baby is going to be very pretty, like she is.

Glad for Sandra Bullock too, I love her to death. Chloe Sevigny looked like she was on drugs, even on the red carped she was slanting her eyes and couldn't stop smiling, she really looked kinda drunk.

I love Taylor Lautner, but what was he doing there, I wonder? Twilight can't bring you that much of a reason to be at Golden Globes, his presence was pointless.

I was sad though that Megan Fox wasn't there, I was wondering why not.

There was only one winner, and that was Ricky Gervais as the host. It's just a shame he didn't give the attending celebs more stick.

Christoph Waltz and Robert Downey Jr... brilliant. :D I'm so happy to see Mr. Waltz got the recognition he deserved for his amazing performance as Col. Hans Landa in Basterds.

I wasn't very impressed with it. I think you have to be "of a certain age" to find it hysterical.

Cameron for Director and the incredibly mediocre Bullock were the biggest disappointments for me, but the Globes sure love their celebrities. The best part of the show for me was Waltz receiving the award and his speech as well:

As for the TV part, Glee and Mad Men were my favourites. :jmp:

why is there only one GG awarded to a supporting actor/actress, when there are two awards for lead actor/actress (Drama, or Comedy/Musical.) i think that there should be an award that is:
Best performance by an actress/actor in a supporting role in a motion picture-Drama/(Comedy or Musical).

but, i am glad that Meryl, Mo'Nique, Sandra,a dn all the others won. based on what movies ive seen of those nominated (hardly any of them), and what ive read about their reviews and what ive seen in the previews, it seems that there were no, OMG! THEY WON? winners.

and i think that MS is now the actor to have the most Goldne Globes, with 7; before she an Jack nicholson were tied at 6. good for her!
