I could possibly see this with the manufacturer or an established grocery outlet.

Oh, jars of sweets of internet? Well that's a different story, as long as it's not food!

I really wouldn't on eBay.. Have you tried looking for online stores that specialize in selling candies?

I would NEVER buy something consumable from eBay.

Bonbons are edible, anything edible is food. :pi:

Go ahead and buy it, or see if there's a number on the back of the package they come in, call it and see if you can talk to somebody and see if they know of any place they're distributing it... Within a reasonable distance. Hopefully it will be in walking range so you can burn off those bonbon calories. :pi:

Or anything else.... Don't order anything where the seller says they will deliver in person. Yet, they could still drug 'em, and hide a tracking device inside it. :whi:

Well, I've never had a sweet tooth this bad, but try not to order them off of Ebay... It's hard enough to trust with non-edible products.

.....WHy not just get them at your local shop?
Buying off eBay, the next batch is likely to kill you or something.

Er, what's with the hostility towards food sellers on eBay?

I've bought a huge jar of Jelly Belly beans from an eBay seller before, for about 1/2 of the price that you'd pay in the shops (particularly here in the UK) and not only am I still alive and well, they were actually great and delivered quickly too. The same principles apply to buying sweets as buying any other product on eBay; use your head, check the seller feedback and if it seems too good to be true then it probably is. There are perfectly responsible and upstanding sellers on eBay for nearly everything, you just have to find them

You say your local store doesn't stock them. Are you a one shop town? Could you not go to the next town and see if there are any bonbons there? If you really are left with the online option, I wouldn't choose ebay, they don't even look like bonbons. Try searching for an online outlet that specialises food and sweets. Maybe you can search for the brand online and see if the wholesalers have an online store recommended.
