View Full Version : NEW pussycat dolls?
yes its finally come to an end. the pussycat dolls have gone from 6 to 2.
original member carmit bachar left the group to pursue a solo carear and other projects.
her first single "cream" will be released this year along with an album
this left the group to 5.
however jessica sutta had injured herself while touring and while she was off she later got a call to say she was kicked out of the band. she reaveled the truth behind the dolls stating. nicole has control over how much camera time each girl has. and how much they can be shown. aswell as how many songs they can sing on etc. she was given her own dressing room while the other 4 had to share, along with the tour bus.
but now its finally been revealed that not only did Kimberly Wyatt quit the band stating "Money and fame can't buy happiness", she is reported to have said only semi-cryptically but a few hours later so did ashley roberts.
which now leaves the band with only 2 members Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton.
but does this mean the end or will robin antin recast for the pussycat dolls.
the answer is shes most likely going to recast as she has said the band has had many lineup changes and she wont be against reinventing the group.
Well, people started to slowly dislike PCD anyway, mainly because the other girls, were, as I just called them, the other girls. Its was just nicole really. Im sure the only reason Mel is still around is becuase she actaully got to sing, rathr than Jess and Carmit, who were solely back-up.
The solos on the 2nd album aren't really enough to say that they are tight knit and can sound well together. it would've been nice to have all the girls on a track together, but that will never happen aparently :rolleyes:

the main girl always stole the spotlight i thought - i mean their songs were ok but i'm not too bothered :o
The funniest thing is that in Arizona when they had a concert melody and Nicole had a mini fight live. And that they're the two main members remaining
but it was because of that stunt which did lead to their breakup:(
but I do agree. Nicole is more like Beyonce when it came to Destinys Child

Atleast they still have the two that sing.
Adding new faces to the band shouldn't be too drastic for most casual fans since the other girls were just 5-6 interchangeable chicks dancing around behind Nicole. xD
Anyways, I can't see any of the solo projects taking off. Nicole is the only doll with star potential at this point since she was given the most time in the spotlight and even her solo career didn't take off all that well. I'm pretty sure these girls will fade just like the two chicks that weren't Beyonce in Destiny's Child.

They knew from the very start they would be placed in the back so I don't feel bad for them at all. When they signed that contract they knew Nicole's face would be the one people would remember.
Nicole didn't mind stepping on them to get where she is and I don't blame her. In the beginning they were more then happy to just sit and let it happen. None of them decided to fight for the spotlight until the very end when it was too late, people were already use to seeing one girl in the lead.

you are correct. Beyonce has 3 solo Albums whereas Nicole doesnt have even one. Nicole cant even sing. actually Melody even has a better voice than Nicole TBH

Nobody knows, its been in the works since around 2006. I guess she had all the tracks picked but the first single didn't really take off, the second single did better but wasn't all that great, she also took a few solo tracks from her solo album and put them on Doll Domination. (When I Grow Up, Happily Never After, Who's Gonna Love You? etc.) so now I guess she is working on a whole new lineup and has said that we can expect its release this year.

well its now been said that even though melody hasnt left the group nicole is the only one who has 100% as to who comes into the group and who leaves. she is staying put and is writing not only for her album but the new pussycat dolls album which is due out the end of this year or early next year.
the songs shes been writing hasnt been said as to whether or not she can use them or if they will be used for the brand new pussycat dolls.
so yep end of one group but a start of a new version
all the other dolls have started their solo carears. carmit being the first to leave is due to bring her album out this year with the first single being called "cream"

They look like the old PCD. :/ They're names are Kherrington Payne, Vanessa Curry, Jamie Lee Ruiz, and Rino Nakasone-Razalan.
Kherrington, I know was from So You Think You Can Dance and the movie Fame and Jamie's enough is --ironically enough-- from a reality TV show called Pussycat Dolls Presents: Girlicious and I don't know where the other two are, if they were even in anything...
So just because I know the two people from this new line-up, I'll give them a chance... :pi:
EDIT: I should add that Jamie can't really sing even though she made far into the competition, but she is a good dancer and was a cheerleader for some basketball team.

lol, I know these pictures are low quality and all but the new girls look pretty much the same as the old ones (same hairstyles, outfits etc). Any regular Joe won't even notice the members have changed.
Well, they did break up. It would make sense if they new members came. I heard Nicole will still be there though. No surprise there. :rolleyes:

I used to like the pussycat dolls 5 years ago all the way to last year then after Hush Hush single i stopped liking them since they broke up and only have 2 members.
