Wouldn't it make sense to use the same Game Engine as TRU, since it's already developed? If that's the case, we could expect graphics on par with TRU. Though I wish they'd do something about her spastic movements...

I agree, it looks a bit more like FF12's engine, the circles look like it. xD Maybe that's too far-fetched though. I don't think its the Underworld engine. I want TR9's engine.:mis: 'Course that's expecting too much too soon.

Maybe, but wouldn't it be a lot of work to develop a new one just for a mini-game? Unless it's a beta version of what will be used in TR9...

Defiance had fixed camera angles with tons of enemies so the engine is capable of it. Just hope the PC controls are better XD And triple hoping there is a PC version in the first place (I'm antsy for the platforms to be officially announced already :o)

It has the same environmental graphics as LS if you ask me, it's just everything is smaller seeming and the detail gets a little crowded and stuff.:)

gameplay, controls and camera angles doesn't mean a new engine. look at the source engine for example, half life 2 and portal use the source engine and are seen from First Person Prespective, yet the game play is very diffrent.

I think so too :) However Keir said that the platforms have not been officially announced yet. I asked him on Twitter if Gamespot jumped the gun by announcing platforms and he said yes they did.

maybe it's improved tru engine with new moves. I don't know since when this game was in development, maybe totally different engine (which is unlikely)
