13 Going On 30. Funny, sweet romantic comedy, and Jennifer Garner does a fantastic job in the role.

I just bought the Chronicles of Riddick, and I love it! It doesn't compare to Pitch Black though, and those who aren't a true fan of Richard B. Riddick probably won't enjoy it, but the die-hard PB fans should love it.

BTW, The Punisher is great, and you shoulf watch Spider-man, and just forget Spider-man 2. :D

My mom bought Hero - It was ok, but the story wasn't that interesting.

I bought Alias season 1 & 2 and I think they're great.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury.

It's 33 minutes long, animated, has Vin Diesel's voice and tells the story of what happened after Pitch Black.

Not bad. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

"Suicide Circle".

Kinda gross/gory and depressing movie about mass suicide... But with weird care-free music teen-pop added to it... So it`s absurdly comic in some places. Very bloody though. Makes the uncut, full color Japanese Kill Bill vol. 1 look like a walk in the park (in blood, I mean)...

Also I got "Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl" today. But haven`t seen it yet. I`ll comment on it later. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I haven't watched all the DVD's I've just bought (had a bit of a spending spree yesterday http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif ), but the last one I watched last night was:

Legend (Tim Curry, Tom Cruise, Mia Sara)

Tim is a brilliant actor, and as for the film, it's one of my favourites. Ridley Scott is such a perfect director, this film has him written all over it.

"Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl" was brilliant! :D

Romantic, action comedy with a yakuza on the run. I love Tadanobu Asano. My fav actor. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif (Mostly known from Zatoichi)

Not bad. I have that too. I though it was really good and interesting, but I thought that they wouldv'e developed Riddick and Jacks relationship more than they did. They really didn't have enough time together to be as close as they were in the Chronicles movie.

True, she was great there, but then again, I've always found her great in all the movies I saw from her.

The only downfall I think Taking Lives has is that it's too predictable. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

Yeah, they all stand out, they gave a different feel to the characters of the other King Arthur related movies one has seen. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif And the actress that played Gweneviere (sp?!? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-1.gif ) was also lovely on Pirates of the Caribbean, another movie I also enjoyed like everything. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

The actress that plays Guinevere is Keira Knightley, and she's just awesome! Such a believable and talented actress...
She was 18 years old when they did "King Arthur" and just 17 when they did Pirates of the Caribbean....

Speaking about more movies, Gladiator? The look on Russel Crow's eyes can make me cry so easily! One of my favorite actors. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

A Home at the End of the World (Colin Farrell, Sissy Spacek)

Great heartful and funny movie. Wonderful acting. Shame it was such a limited release, because it's amazing. A++

Unfaithful (Diane Lane, Richard Gere)

Diane Lane gives the best performance of her carreer so far. Sexy romantic thriller. A

Audition (1999)

My rating: 10/10

This is the scariest horror film I've ever seen. A Chinese horror with subtitles. This is my favorite horror film.

http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0000640S9.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

Amazon.com Description:

If you want the full sledgehammer-to-the-stomach effect of Audition, stop reading this review now. Just watch it and take the consequences. At first glance, Takashi Miike's jack in the box of a movie works like a romantic comedy: amiable widower Shigeharu Aoyama (Ryo Ishibashi) decides it's time to find a new wife, and a friend suggests holding a fake audition to find the right girl. It soon becomes clear that there is something wrong with Aoyama's choice. This is no ordinary Fatal Attraction-style thriller, however; Audition slowly and carefully builds into a wrenching exploration of both deep male fears and the stereotype of the cute, submissive Japanese woman. Audition is by no means an easy movie to watch--even hardcore horror fans may have trouble--but it will stay with you for a long, long time. --Ali Davis

I totally agree Lane's performance was amazing, but I don't like the way they focused on the subject like it's wrong because something might go wrong and pretty much left out other sides to it. I think it gives the wrong message.
