View Full Version : AOD-Question, PC-Players: Snowing in Prague?

...a voice from the darkness.....

I think You understand the title: is it snowing in Prague ("The Monstrum Crimescene") with Your PC-version of AOD? We know that it's snowing in the PS2-version, and I'm almost completely sure about it must be snowing with the PC-version also. The question is perhaps only the videocard and its settings: perhaps You need a DX9 card with PS2.0. I have a Radeon 9000 Pro with 64 MB DDR-RAM, it's a DX8.1 card, and I can't see any snowing on that level... :(

And here comes what is interesting: one of our Friends at Home (at our Site) has a Radeon 9600 card, which is a DX9 card with PS2.0, but She still can't see any snowing on "The Monstrum Crimescene"... Why?!

Does anybody have an idea about this? About how should we set up AOD for a visible snowing in Prague...? I really can't believe that a PC can't show snowing while a PS2 can...

Drop some tips to me, if You have, and I also need a PC-screenshot from anyone who can see the snowing in the PC-version...

Thank You kindly... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Later editing... I've just seen that I created the topic into the General Chat, which is not the best place for it. It should be in the AOD-section and/or in the Technical-section. Feel free to move it to there if You think... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

No snow in PC. (water and electronics don't mix :D :D )
core probably couldn't get the snow in the game in time before the end of eidos's fiscal year, so they conveniently left it out of the pc version which is just a poorly port ps2 version.

Unfortunately, it's not a tech problem. There is no snow or dripping in the PC version as there are no credits at the end of the game. Tragic, isn't it??

Moved to ADO forum.
