Those are just off some of their hits, I got there latest album IT'S BLITZ! And I'm in love with every single track on the album which for someone picky like me is very rare.

While this thread may not get much attention, I'm just spreading my love of one the greatest underrated alternative bands out there. Besides someone said that these threads were lacking alternative/rock threads so here is one.

Hope you enjoy listening to the great music they provide. If you don't like it well there's always Britney Spears or Kylie Minogue to comfort you.

I'm pretty sure the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are quite popular. But anyway, I haven't listened to much of their older stuff but I really loved It's Blitz! Every single song on there was great.

Yeah there quite popular but I still find them underrated and yeah there old albums are incredible, I got there older albums too but I kinda prefer IT'S BLITZ! Either way I love their transition to the alternative/dance/indie side. When I heard about them making IT'S BLITZ! More "dancy" I dreaded it alot but I love every track.

I only remember hearing "Maps", but I was impressed by the vocals. They're really unique. Almost like the lady doesn't have to stress herself too much to sing so awesome.

A little correction: it's not "The" Yeah Yeah Yeahs, it's Yeah Yeah Yeahs. :p

Anyway, they are definitely one of the best bands out there, and one of my personal favourites (if not the favourite). My fav. album is Show Your Bones, which is probably the most underrated YYYs album. Fever to Tell and It's Blitz are also brilliant albums. Oh and their EPs are also great, especially Is Is.

I so want to see them live :pi:

I know. I just said that because that's what they say when they introduce themselfs, "please welcome, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs!" or "Hi, were the Yeah Yeah Yeahs." And I agree Show Your Bones is very underrated. I don't have the album but I listened to the tracks. And it was fantastic.

Love them, my favourite song is Maps.

I've seen them live once and they were great. Karen O is such a brilliant performer and I love her voice. Always interesting to see what she will be wearing as well, she has some whacky outfits. :D

Yeah its nice to see a female artist like Karen who sings completely live and has a good time who doesn't use pole dancing for effect. :) And yeah she has lots of cool outfits, but in a way no matter how girly her dresses may appear you still wanna call her a tomboy. :) lol.

Not sounding judgemental but I hear Karen is part asian and asians are known for wacky outfits, well the Japanese certainly are. :vlol:

She is half Korean and half Polish. I think she is gorgeous and definetely one of the best singers I have seen live.

Nice use of a bin liner for this outfit. :D

Cheated by
The opposite of love
Held on high
From up up up above
Kept my high
From the second one
Kept my eye
On the first one

Now take these rings
And stow them safe away
I'll wear them on
Another rainy day
Take these rings
And stow them safe away
I'll wear them on
Another rainy day

Ah Cheated hearts one of the only songs that's made me get up and dance...Yes I did by myself get up and start "dancing" (jumping around) to the song.

Cheated Hearts is a great song, found a clip for the gig I was at. Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee, Scotland.

I was really lucky to get a ticket, they were free but not many were available.:jmp: They only played for about 40 minutes but it was amazing.

I'm sure they wll be back over soon, they toured at the end last year but I couldn't make it. :(

They pretty much just performed all their singles at that Radio 1 thing, Phenomena was great but I can't find any more stuff on You Tube. That song really rocks live.
