It sells the most hilariously bad stuff.

Like these Cartmans:

Ever came across anything lolsome in £Land?!

This sounds like the American/Yank equivalent of a Dollar Store. Where most things are priced around 1 dollar, or something more evenly priced, instead of 1.99 it's 2.00, or whatever.

Poundland is awesome. When I eventually have kids, all their presents are coming from there. They'll never know :pi:

On a serious note, its great for random stuff like batteries. Rechargeables, to be specific. Oh and Christmas decorations, compilation cds etc... the rest of Craigdon didnt agree, but I think the customers appreciated the cheesy 'White Christmas' type music last year :p

I got this little action figure from poundland when it first opened here. And you built it up from little pieces, and it was this poseable ninja, and it came with postcards and weapons and accessories for it. I loved it so much.

Sometimes you find a good bargain in there, especially for toiletries. My mum was looking for Bio-Oil which usually sells for like, a tenner, and found bottles of it in Poundland.

LMAO. That's pretty bad. Me and my other of which is significant spent a while looking at everything they were selling in there. Didn't buy anything, but I told him it's where I get all my birthday and Christmas cards from.

Got a cheap bondage kit from there once. They were selling it around valentines.

I really hate those, they taste of cardboard. :o
They do sell bags of assorted 'misshapen chocolates', which Wilkinson's used to sell. They are rather yummy, although you only get a few different flavours each time.

The trashiest things I've seen are the god-awful toys, the cheap, dirty movies and a fragrance called Josh. Some things are quite good though; namely, the known brands.

:p See, the wonders they sell in Poundland never end :whi:

I dont think I would have survived my part time job if Poundland wasnt around - if I ever had a sugar rush it was always my first call. Walnut whips are a godsend! :p Oh and yeah the reject chocolates, those were awesome. Always a hit or miss over getting something good though. I remember I got one bad which had Thorntons stuff in it. That was awesome...

I remember going in and a can of coke being a pound, I was like er... :|
But it was also 3 for a pound so it was all good. :)

They did once sell these pretty sexy Audrey Hepburn bags but I never picked one up :(.

I got double sided tape from there today as well, and I must say..it's gonna stick ANYTHING.

So sticky!!

Aye loads of folk do that here as well. You can't blame them though..you're £1 for a bag of Malteasers there, and £4.50 at the cinema!

Any shop that claims to be a poundshop but charges 8.00 for sun-glasses is a bit of a rip :p

I find the Pound or 99p shops incredibly stressful to shop in. They always seem crammed with people and I end up walking round not really finding anything. The 99p stores are taking over the old Woolworths stores in my area. I'll buy stuff from them occasionally, as you can find some useful stuff in them.

Same phrase as N.Ireland so I may translate...

He is pondering a trip to sed shopping boutique to browse through their items of low quality. ;)
