View Full Version : How come Lara never kills her enemies?
...or she sends somebody to do her dirty work instead (Natla)?
what.
I have no idea what you're talking about. You mean why didn't she kill Amanda and Natla herself? She didn't kill Amanda because she still has feelings for her, obviously. :p And she didn't kill Natla because, well, I don't think she can. It sure isn't for a lack of trying!

^ :tmb: Also, she couldn't kill Natla earlier in the game as she didn't have the hammer to! ;)

I've only played legend and underworld so far so I guess thats why it seemed that way to me.
thanks
Amanda used to be her best friend, and although they are not really buddies now, having the same interests as Lara does not make Amanda evil. I doubt Lara is ever going to kill Amanda. Besides Amanda like Natla knows more about Atlantis than Lara, she wants that knowledge herself. Natla was right about Lara's desires when she tempted Lara with the knowledge of the scion, but Lara it seems has limits as to what she will sacrifice to get that knowledge. Lara had to try to kill Natla (yet again) in order to save the world, in TRU it seems she had her doubts throwing the hammer would kill Natla, but it at least stopped her.
And the only one Lara has doing her dirty work is the doppelganger, she did not need to be sent though, she wanted the same thing Lara did, for Natla to suffer! (TRU DLC)
If you've played Legend, then you will know that Lara does kill her enemies. She killed Tokamoto didn't she and she was responsible for Rutland's death, although she also gave him a chance at first and he just happened to be in the way when she returned to Bolivia. I don't think she wanted Amanda dead. She wanted her out of the way and warned though and by the end of TRU she knew that Amanda wasn't the real enemy here, but Natla. In TRA Lara tried her best to see Natla off as she did again in TRU - but Natla it seems is near (or totally) impossible to kill. By the time of Beneath the Ashes, Lara knows that Natla still isn't dead, but is shrewd enough that she probably wouldn't get near enough to Natla to try again and if Natla really is immortal, then the best alternative is for her to suffer - and the best person for that job is the doppel, who Nala thought was still under her command.
Crystal Dynamics games aside, if you ever get a chance to play TRs 1-6, Core's TRs, you'll see that Lara nearly always kills the bad guys in the end. :mis:
If you look at the number of people Lara has killed, you would expect an international arrest warrant by now. And I haven't even mentioned all the endangered animals she has slaughtered.

Right? But also, she probly has amnesty in all countries. (but how did whe get it, i wonder. :mis:)
But she killed a million of mercenaries in Legend :p
to recycle them and the plot...:pi:
Don't forget all the police she killed in AoD. O_o
Well she killed loads of mercenarys in tru and tra.
She almost killed amanda in the alternate ending of tru.

no, but she twisted her knee to the other way so shes immobile :D

lol Get the classics, play the classics and compare to Legend, Anniversary and Underworld. In the classic games Lara killed without hesitation. Of course in Underworld it's understandable after all Lara still has feelings (unfortunately) for Amanda and Natla is a god who can only really truly be killed by Thor's Hammer.

which didnt worked either:p Seriously that b:cen: just dont die
We should give her an A+ for the effort, though

"I supose you arent open to bribery?"
^ Poker15, She wanted Amanda to suffer.
I Think just killing her like that would be easy. If she just shot her she would take away the pain quickly But she gave Amanda a lot of chances so she got what she deserved. ;)
She's um...Royal apparently. Well actually in her classic bio her estates where given to her well her ancestors through King Edward or Henry, something...
So maybe she has um...privileges.
That's in response to the amnesty.

That's because they were all trying to kill her first :ton:.

the bullet probably would have shattered her patella (knee bone), so its likely that her knee collapsed like that becuase of the bone breakages, think of it as like chopping a tree down with an axe, you take out one side and it makes it weak, push with that weak part and the tree collapses, bones would work in the same way, weaken one side and it'll be more likely to break on that side
Well lara killed so many enemies in all the TR's the reason why she didn't get caught is that it's just a video game the way the game designers made that and i think lara spared amanda because amanda helped lara defeat natla in Underworld.
