:(

Not a fan, but he was looking extremely gaunt and miserable during his last few weeks. im glad that he got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (while he was alive), im sure it was quite an honor for him it get.:o

Celebs seem to be dropping like flies in the last few years, i hope this is the end of such a macabre thing going around.

RIP, Dennis Hopper.

He directed and starred in one of my favourite films (Easy Rider) and his performance in Blue Velvet was Oscar-worthy.

You will be missed, Dennis.

I thought of my late mother this morning on the way home from work. She died from cancer too, yet I thought how long she suffered with it. She had so much life left in her.

I don't know exactly all the things his family and caregivers went through (but I have somewhat of an idea) - but I do know that it can be bitter sweet when someone with such a ravaging disease finally dies. You hate to see them go, but on the other hand it's a relief because they don't have to suffer anymore. :(

Rest in Peace Mr. Hopper.
