Ok I forgot to mention, I have Blender, and I honestly don't know where to begin with it....:/

There are sooo many buttons, I just want to make a 3D model and it is telling me all kinds of crap that I'd rather have in a simple drop down menu.:p

Does anybody have any other ideas?:)

Whatever you are looking for, making 3D models isn't easy to begin with. :p

If you want basic, Wings 3D (http://www.wings3d.com/) is free, and Milkshape (http://chumbalum.swissquake.ch/) has a free trial, then you can register for the full version for only $35 or EUR 25 (£21)

There's an XNALara mesh modding thread here: http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=154890

There are a lot of tuts about modding in Blender and you can ask questions there (in the German section).

Depending on what you're trying to make, metasequoia (http://www.metaseq.net/english/) may be enough. It has a free version, that's what everyone normally uses for trle objects.

There are loads of training videos for blender on youtube. It seems daunting at first, but once you get to grips with the interface its actually very easy, and the workflow is very fluid.

Metasequoia is the simplest one to use but lacks some features like rigging and animation.:o

I <3 it. It's user interface and gentle learning curve are fantastic :D

I tried Google Sketch-up (http://sketchup.google.com/) just a week ago. It might be simple enough to use, but I do get a bit frustrated with it... Especially when it comes to it's accuracy -- as in how 3-D faces meet up, and sometimes it draws planes where I don't necessarily want them... And All I was trying to do was find the position for a line.

On 2nd thought - maybe you shouldn't try it.
