Good morning people. :wve:

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to ask this but I thought it was appropriate seeing as im asking in general and as its not really a technical fault, but anyway...

I just recently bought a new pc and my old version Nero isn't compatible with Windows 7 64Bit, and im in need of a decent DVD authoring software.

I've tried using Sony DVD Architect Studio 4.5 but it's hard to use and not very clear. I was just wondering if there were any other programs available?

Cheers

You don't just want video authoring, you want DVD authoring.

Doesn't Nero have a 64-bit version yet?

Upgrade Nero (http://www.nero.com/enu/nero10-overview.html)

Do you mean burning video to a DVD with menus? If so, have you tried 'Windows DVD Maker' from your Windows 7 Start Menu?

Yeah that's what I mean, and ya know, I never gave that a second thought! thanks :D

and if this turns out to be half decent I don't think ill bother upgrading nero

Well for creating my own DVD's I use the program DVD Lab Pro 2. I find it pretty easy to use but at first I was very new to it and didn't know how to make it function well enough. But in the program you're really free in creating your own custom menu. You can do almost anything with it, but like I said it might be a bit hard to use for a beginner. Anyway, it's just a suggestion. Here's the link to the site: http://www.mediachance.com/download.htm

I hope it's useful :o.
