I've finally decided to buy a new headset after my stepsister hoovered up the adapter for my other one and nowhere can I find a replacement (not even ebay :pi:) so I've come to terms with the fact I'll have to buy another :p

If you use a headset for your ps3, what would you recommend? I think im toying with getting a monoaudio one with the cushioned ear pieces because I game a lot and want comfort.

This one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0035EIYUQ/sr=8-13/qid=1279363118/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1279363118&sr=8-13&seller=
looks promising but im waiting before I buy to see what you lot would suggest I get :)

I use a Logitech one like this (http://www.blueunplugged.com/xsdbimgs/logitech-usb-headset.jpg). It's really good. But if you can afford the official one (SONY), go for it. They are better, I think.

Hmmm the official Sony one apparently has the best sound quality but isnt comfortable, which the monoaudio ones like the logitech one and the one ive seen are the best for comfort...

Now do i want better sound quality or comfort :p

Comfort. The freak you'll most likely attract will probably be stuffing their face with cheesy crisps. :p The Amazon one has brilliant reviews (except for the one person who wanted to use it for Skype...)

Lmao :vlol: Oh Phlippy :') And yeah im edging towards the comfort side of things because I have the most awkward little elfy ears :p The reviews i've read on the official Sony headset say the clarity is beautiful but the comfort is terrible and is very painful for those with small ears and feels like its gonna fall off.

So you think I should get the amazon one? Its not too bad a price - 16.49.

Yeah I'd suggest the Amazon one. This looks painful:

If this even is a headset...

I've tried that one on, it's actually pretty good, I felt no discomfort and it definitely doesn't fall out, it is really lightweight and good quality, and it looks really cool and sleek when you're wearing it. :tmb:

Yeah, it's really nice. I recommend it because it feels way better than having a big headset on and it feels really nice and it's easy to take off and put back on and it doesn't keep moving. If you don't like big headsets that feel like you have a huge machine attached to your brain (:p) you should get this one!

Hmm, I dont really know what would be best because most of the reviews i've read are bad for the official ps3 headset :/

Any bluetooth will work but everyone I've talked to with the official headset loves it

I just use my phone headset... Motorola bluetooth headset. They're inexpensive. I haven't used it much, but the times I have, it worked fine.

I wouldn't really know what the best would be!

I've been using the original PS2 set for games like AVP but everyone there is so hard to hear even with the settings maxed. :hea:
