No, this has nothing to do with the 'Jersey Shore' dirtbags. :ton:

I'm kind of in awe considering that something like this happened but I just wanted to share this. I think it's so cool, but then again, it's scary as crap considering that I have a fear of sharks.

It appeared to be more afraid of all the goofballs than they were of it. :p 'Hook em, hook em, hook em'.

That's so cool! I hope they manage to capture it and release it further into the water rather than kill it the next time it comes to shore :(

What a bunch of idiots screaming like that...come on...It's flapping about on land, it's hardly going to hurt anybody is it.

It's nice to see that someone helped it as well ^o).

Up along Cape Cod there's been a spate of Great White Shark sightings, which have caused beach closings. There have even been remains of seals washed up along the shores.

One thing I'm looking forward to seeing is the results of some of the tagged sharks from these episodes. They've managed to tag about a third of the fish, and are hoping to learn of the sharks migrating patterns.

Anyway. I guess I mention it because an island off the coast of Massachusetts was the setting of the original movie JAWS, and many of these sightings have happened near the 'supposed' island. Seeing these GW's in these waters has been almost unheard of. The seal population has exploded so we can probably expect to see many more of these.

Cool video. I happened to see it yesterday. It certainly is a unique opportunity to see nature. Agreed. The shark was probably more scared of the non-finned, two eyed bi-peds than they were of it.

Fishing poll, yank it ashore, send it to youtube.

Anyhow is this location anywhere near the gulf? There has been a number of sea creatures coming up to the shoreline just to escape the spill.

I believe it was New Jersey, voltz. Hence the occasional insult to Jersey Shore TV show girl, Snookie.
