On Facebook, wife learns of husband's 2nd wedding

Dread of the unknown hung in the air as Lynn France typed two words into the search box on Facebook: the name of the woman with whom she believed her husband was having an affair.

Click. And there it was, the stuff of nightmares for any spouse, cuckolded or not. Wedding photos. At Walt Disney World, no less, featuring her husband literally dressed as Prince Charming. His new wife, a pretty blonde, was a glowing Sleeping Beauty, surrounded by footmen.

"I was numb with shock, to tell you the truth," says France, an occupational therapist from Westlake, a Cleveland suburb. "There was like an album of 200 pictures on there. Their whole wedding." (Yahoo news (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100805/ap_on_re_us/us_facebook_cheating_dispute;_ylt=Aqi6O9sqFRbPxPs1 R_d4j9gDW7oF;_ylu=X3oDMTMxczdpMjU4BGFzc2V0A2FwLzIw MTAwODA1L3VzX2ZhY2Vib29rX2NoZWF0aW5nX2Rpc3B1dGUEcG 9zAzYEc2VjA3luX2FydGljbGVfc3VtbWFyeV9saXN0BHNsawNv bmZhY2Vib29rd2k-))

Hmm. Finding the couple and their photos on a social networking site, reality sets in, then breaking everything off. Yep. That seems pretty accurate. :pi:

Only I know what I'm talking about.

Indeed, but it was that other womanīs account.

It could be that she did it on purpose so that she can have him to herself, but most likely she is in the same (love?)boat. :o

Filthy jerk, hang him!

Yes, itīs awful but it happens. So if your partner starts having regular and long ībusiness tripsī, or is gone for whatever other reason, start worrying. :o

One time I have saw a TV show call Private Practice and there was a same episode with this subject, truly it's disgust me.

Oh god, I read it too now. The other woman married him despite knowing that he was already married, which is also very low. And the guy claims that his earlier marriage was never legit, took his children with him and moved to another state. She canīt even see her kids, thatīs terrible. :(

Mormon, too, I believe. Not sure though. :o

Just trying to imagine it already. What I'd do is better not suited here, I think. :pThe Mormons did, or at least some of them did when their orginal leader (forgot his name) suddenly added that the religous text he found said that men could have more than one wife. Although many Mormons accused him of making that part up in order to justify his mulitiple wives he already had.

Sorry, Quasi, but the title to the thread doesn't quite go along with the story . (Well it sort of does, if you take it from the man's pov, and in line with the fact that his secret is now out), I hope I'm making sense :o.

Anyhoo, this man is a jerk for what he's done. If it wasn't bad enough to marry another woman whilst still married (although I can see there are question marks over that), but he took the kids too? To top it off he's insinuated his first wife isn't a fit mother. I repeat, a jerk. What an humiliating way to find out.

To my knowledge, in the US polygamy is illegal no matter what religon.

This guy is a jerk regardless. :pi:

Y'know, that would be an interesting movie. We see how Sleeping Beauty and all live, what about the princes? How do we know they're really all that innocent? For all we know this could be how Sleeping Beauty ends after the credits :vlol:

My question would be: Are social networking sites leading to brain damage and general stupidity amongst their users? :p

mudkip25
06-08-10, 06:42
I don't see how its okay for the guy to that? If you are with someone and at least have kids with someone, stay until the kids grow up instead of go get married to a prettier girl, move to another state and take your children with you.

I've kinda been in situations like this except there was no father... I wonder how the kids are feeling about this thing. Their probably acting all happy for now. (Everyone bottles up emotions some time in their life.)

Dustie
06-08-10, 11:29
Is there a stupidity powder being sprayed on people as they set up Facebook accounts? Who in the world would post something like that, in that situation, on Facebook? Sounds more like he wanted his actual wife to find out!

well, if he was still married to the first woman his second marriage would be null and void because polygamy is illegal
