Did you guys know the site? I bet a lot of you do. I just noticed it went down. There's a goodbye message at plantlara.com.

This sucks BIG TIME, since they had the soundtrack section, which was amazing. Every track from the classics up to Anniversary was uploaded and could be streamed easily with a neat Flash audio player. Whenever and wherever I felt like listening to Tomb Raider music, especially Tomb Raider 3 title track, which I love, I could just hop to planetlara.com/soundtracks and press Play.

Anyone knows the admin behind the site and how to contact them? Maybe at least the soundtrack section could be brought back somewhere else. I know bandwidth is not free, but it's not like people listened to the music 24/7...

Yes.... there's a massive thread about it already :p

It's really sad :( It was the very first site Tomb Raider I stumbled across, actually.

From planetlara.com

It’s been a fun 12 years but unfortunately
Planet Lara is closing soon!

Thank to the community and visitors for making us one of the largest Tomb Raider sites in the world. It’s been really good fun but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

Due to other commitments and new projects we are no longer able to maintain the site and we will be closing Planet Lara and Planet Lara Interactive on 6th August 2010.

Special thanks go to Daniel Barnes, Abigail Hirst, Susie Hampton, Noel Gillam, Chris Jager and all our moderators for their help and contributions to this site over the years.

And as always, thanks to YOU for visiting.
Happy Raiding!
