I want a job, however I don't want to sacrifice all my free time for one.

I need money to save up for school, however that is it.

I don't want to feel like I NEED to get some ordinary part time job just to get me through until I get a real carreer, I'd like a job that I enjoy, even if it is just a part time job.

I have a part time job at a grocery store in the produce department. I don't particularly enjoy it, but I'm thankful I even have a job.

I've applied at a few places but haven't got accepted anywhere yet. Kinda sucks when you've graduated high school and are in college but can't get a job because you aren't 18 :vlol:

I am a High School student, dear :D

I had a work through a school organization. Basically, they treat you like a slave for 10 weeks and give you $400 for it. Not a lot but it was a nice addition to my savings.

I'm currently in search of a REAL job right now :)

Ooh, congratulations t-raider! Hot Topic is one of my favorite stores. :D

I work at a bank, doing deposits and cashing checks mainly. Nothing too interesting, other than the fact that I get to handle a crapload of money. :vlol:

I work at Domino's Pizza. :) I think it's a pretty good job, as I get to go on deliveries and just sit and relax in my car with the radio on.

Eventually I might get a job as a Travel Agent. Free time, and time to go on a holiday as often as I want is pretty important to me, so I don't know when I'll consider getting it.

I was doing volunteer work at a drop in centre, which is like a kind of shelter for people who are having rough times. I was just helping out with certain events like lotteries, jumble sales, and also a little help in the kitchens.

I guess I can't really go for a real job yet at the moment because I'm recovering from certain problems.. anxiety etc.. Gotta get used to socialising with people again first.

I work for a national newspaper in London as admin support for the sales team, although I've been here three years now, I never saw myself ending up here...

And to tell you the truth I am really sick of it now and just feel really fed up!

I have a degree in archaeology which got me nowhere other than a whole year of unemployment, and that's something I don't want to be again in a hurry seeing as I've just moved in with my boyfriend!

I'm hoping though once I pass my driving test (God knows when that will be!) I'll go on to take a local history/genealogy online course so I can get closer to what I actually want to do and maybe be able to leave this place!

I work at a catalogue based call centre but I think most labour that could be performed by a robot is a breach of human rights so I'm aspiring to be a scientist with my first specialisation to be a degree in Anthropology. Aspiring being the keyword, it would help if I wasn't riddled with the disease that is procrastination.

Congrats t-raider on your first job. But what is Hot Topic? I take it it's a store, but what type?

I'm unemployed, and have applied for so many jobs, I've lost count. In the past I've worked in offices on reception and in stores, so either of those really would suit again. I think I'd be in seventh heaven if I gained a job in a book store.

If you're good at fundamental math, multitasking, and have people skills, it's not difficult. It's a nice professional atmosphere, but I don't want to be in banking my whole life. I'm pursuing a job in the gaming industry. :)

I haven't worked a real job (meaning coffee shop) since 2006. However, I did some workstudy stuff (mindless junk, mostly helping out staff at the college) from 2006 to 2008. I haven't worked at all since Bush was in office. Just a few weeks ago I started freelancing and have made maybe $100 in the past 3-4 weeks. it's not a lot but it's better than nothing. Besides, I like the work. :)
