I noticed that quite a few songs that were on the original Guitar Hero are going to be on Rock Band 3 and there's also a heck of a lot of artists that I'm not too familiar with (hopefully there will be plenty of pleasant surprises), but I'll probably get it regardless. After all, One Armed Scissor is going to be on it. :p

This was released awhile ago. :p
Still, I'm glad to see that I know 80% of the songs.

Saw it a few days ago, we already have Rock Band 1 & 2 in the house, and my brother is buying Rock Band 3. So w00t! It's nice to have this game around, it's fun for parties. :p

IGN only posted it a couple of days ago. Perhaps you're thinking of the new Guitar Hero. Either that or IGN was just late with the news.

Oh, and I forgot to mention... The Smiths are finally in a music game! :jmp:

I would have preferred How Soon is Now?, This Charming Man or Panic, but Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before is pretty great too so it will do. :p

I only got Rock Band around a month ago. I'd been waiting to play it since it came out in the U.S., so I waited quite a while. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some DLC.

WTF? 17 of those songs were in previous Guitar Hero games. Still, it's gonna be a fun game to play! Hopefully, their note charts will be better. "Before I Forget" was on GH3 and that was AWKWARD.

I didn't say I saw it on IGN.
Other websites posted this before IGN did.
I know my games. ;)

I noticed the same thing. Makes buying this kind of less attractive if you have the entire Guitar Hero back catalogue like me :p

A lot of the songs on GH3 were awkward to play really. Harmonix seem to realise that you don't have to make songs really difficult to make them fun to play. If I want to play a punk song, I don't want to be tested as much as when I play heavy metal. :p

I realise that might have been the case, it's just that IGN tends to be one of the first places to get games news, so I assumed that they would have been one of the first to report on it.

NOTE: Those who say "these songs were in Guitar Hero" should remember that RB3 will have keyboards... and songs where keyboards were charted on guitar in GH will now be charted properly (thank god!).

I hadn't seen this list before and all I have to say is "Roundabout, by Yes" is a big YES for me!
