Has anyone seen the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre? It was filmed in 1973 and it's so creepy. I heard it's based on a true story! Well when I'm watching it, I keep forgetting that it's just a movie because it's so realistic. I've always been interested in these kinds of films and this takes the cake for creepiness. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif

Yah. The movie is based on a true story and the case is still open... or so they say.

The original is one of the all time great horrors, and a fantastic example of how special effects and famous faces do not a good film make. I love that film.

Yes, I saw it in the early 80's on pirate video when it was still banned in this country (UK). Rubbish.

Oh, yeah... I love that movie! It`s great!!
For christ sake, a family of butchers who eats people! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yuck.gif

I hardly eat any meat at all... I find it gross just thinking it is DEAD MEAT from an animal...
So psycho people hunting for humans with a chainsaw to make sausages of them are especially GROSS to me.

Not really much blood or gore, though... Good movies can be scary without that. That grandfather was SO creepy!
