my other-half is Irish and likes Tomb Raider.. or rather I got her hooked on it after I was sick and tired of seeing those damn 'Myst' boxes everywhere http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

doubt she'd ever come here so doubt that's much good; but enough to make you feel not so alone heh

she comes from a small village called Lough..erm actually i forget, but it's in Northen Ireland in the Peninsula. Very nice place, flipping cold enough there for me to cut glass with my nipples but it is boardering on the Irish sea heh
(and we found a way to keep warm, kinda how we ended up together heh)

gotta say though...you guys shoudl NOT be allowed behind the wheel of a car. seriously if anyone goes to ireland, SOOO much safer if your in some armoured 4x4 like a Humvee heh

Australia is only so safe because people steal your cars before you have the chance to crash them.

It was a joke, Joseph. I am bitter because I have had two cars stolen in two days. Ignore me. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

lmao Spence. I think it has more to do with a few years ago when Ireland had that backlog of licenses, so they just started giving them to anyone who applied rather than testing them.

or atleast that's how my friend Cathey tells it, cause she was most put out they stopped it when she went for her license heh

personally didn't find the road dangerous to drive on, i mean come to where I live (Watford) and you'll see some truely aweful roads. I try to visit ireland each year, beautiful place with some beautiful erm accents heh

it was mostly in Ireland rather than N.Ireland people drove like looneys. I mean don't remember using my brakes so much in my life in order to avoid collisions. Alot of the drivers in Dublin just don't bother looking, just pull out.
that said, it's the same in LA. what's more annoying is the people who do that generally have huge 4x4 trucks that you don't want to mess with unless you have one too.
or some century old card that i swear is made out of frigging lead or something. heh might explain why they all look like shaped bricks ;)

Hi yes I am half Irish http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

My mother came from Miltown Malbay on the west coast of Ireland, in the Co of Clare.

I have not been back for some years now and I will have ot go one day to see how that half of my family are doing since my mothers death.

It is a beautifull part of the country and I love the colour of the grass and sea :D

There was another member here who was full Irish from Belfast but i'm not shure if he is still here or on a diffrent TR forum now. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
