Hey guys, are any of you using WhatsApp a/o Pingchat 2 for iPhone, BlackBerry or Android phones?

It let's you communicate with eachother (texting, sharing pictures etc.) completely free! It's even suppose to work with anyone in the world, so I'd really like to test it!

WhatsApp is connected to your phonenumber, which is perfect, cause if any of your friends in your contactlist install the program, you'll automatically have them in your list and start texting (completely free of charge, since your using the internet to send the messages)..

Pingchat works with a self-created ID, which is perfect for if you don't want to give people your phone nr!

Anyway, it would be cool if we could send eachother textmessages without worrying about the costs!

Here's how to get them:

WhatsApp (http://www.whatsapp.com/)

iPhone - Download from iTunes (0,79)
Blackberry - go to whatsapp.com/blackberry (with your phone)
Android - go to whatsapp.com/Android (with your phone)

Pingchat 2 (http://www.pingchat.com/)

iPhone - Download from iTunes (free)
Blackberry - go to pingchat.com/blackberry (with your phone)
Android - Download from Market (free, I think)

Lol, I seem like a total spokesperson or something, I should make this my job..

But I can't wait to see what you guys think of it.. all of my friends have it and I almost NEVER send texts anymore! I even had a bundle where I had 1000 texts for 10,-.. I totally got rid of that, since I hardly ever use it anymore..

Anyway let me know what you think! Feel free to add me, my Pingchat ID = jank0

If you want to add me on WhatsApp, PM me for my phonenr, only for people I really trust..

Actually it's cheaper for me to call/text/send MMS for pictures, than it is to involve the internet in any way - for me, at least.

Wow really? Maybe it depends on the country or something, we all have unlimited-online on our phones here (not pre-paid of course).. it's the same as Blackberry Ping, just with these programs you can communicate between iPhone-BlackBerry-Android, instead of Blackberry to Blackberry
