:yah:No matter how crazy!!!!! :yah:

:jmp:

Well, this thread is so we can explain the invention or idea we have and we always found very good idea, but not told anyone or yes, wathever.:D

I have some invention that might be interesting. Well, I think.:cln:

I think this idea many years ago.:)
It consists on to put approaching cells(radiofrequency or something) to measuring the distance to the ground from the chassis of a vehicle.
In this way, and with some mathematical operations, the car's suspension would be prepared to receive or absorb the impact of the land.

Thus I think the suspension of the vehicle could always predict ground conditions, adapting it perfectly. :)

Tell us youuuurssssss :D:jmp:

Tampi: I think Mercedes is actually experimenting with something like that.

My invention: A GPS that I can disagree with in some useful way, so I can just scream "What? Via Düsseldorf? Are you insane? No, standard via Cologne, please, unless there's a traffic jam there" and it will understand me and either change the route or say "There is a traffic jam on the route you selected".

Yes, about driving, traffic and vehicles could do a lot of improves.:)
Just as a camera car that always records ahead and behind, for example, half a minute earlier.
That way if there is an accident, the authorities could determine what actually happened.

Or traffic lights system connected to the GPS too....

EDIT: Mercedes? Whenever there is any. :o
And one day I said a lot of people had invented the fire.

Well, that idea more than ten years that I have!:p

I am actually, in a way, a certified inventor, my latest invention (http://portfolio.noctifer.net/work.php?section=products&item=10) being not one I am proud of because it's so super simple and I actually don't even like children, but it's still very effective and well-received: an interactive toy to motivate disabled children to do their exercises. The toy consists of a single receiver (a caterpillar, as I designed it) and multiple colour sources which can be placed anywhere around the exercise room. The children have to go to a source where they can select a colour of their choosing, and then go to the receiver to magically transfer the colour to it ("feed the caterpillar", as an initial metaphor). Yes, that's all it does, but it is compatible with practically every physical exercise that exists for these children. Here's a video (http://files.noctifer.net/p/video2.zip) for further demonstration that I forgot to add to the description on that site.

I'm personally more interested in the kind of work I did for Philips, regarding human-technology interaction. I designed two remote controls, one fairly classic and universal (http://portfolio.noctifer.net/work.php?section=products&item=11), the other purely gesture-based but aimed specifically at IPTV (http://portfolio.noctifer.net/work.php?section=products&item=12).

My preference however is often not the most user-friendly approach, at least not initially; rather, I try to go for greater efficiency after a learning curve for example by cramming all essentials into a single interface (http://portfolio.noctifer.net/work.php?section=products&item=9). (Most designers today mindlessly praise simplicity at the cost of functionality.) The two interaction techniques above are also specifically useful for expert users (who have taken the trouble to learn all the possibilities I've given them - that's the kind of user I like :p).

Alas, as of yet I am still waiting for my fame and fortune.
