View Full Version : Great Aurora Borealis shots
I found a great site from Iceland for aurora photos.
Looks great, but AB or volcano?
Are the colours real?
They are very colourful. If true colour then amazing shots. Earth and heaven. Wow.
I think they're real John. It's Iceland - North land of fire!
Beautiful pictures, Gonga. Thanks.
Excuse my manners ladies... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif
Good evening Tippu and Taz!
That is absolutely amazing. Do you ever see northern lights up where you are, gonga? Before we moved down here to the Deep Sahhhth, we lived in Ithaca for about a month (been relocating all over the bloody country). A lady there said that they sometimes see aurora borealis in the Finger Lakes region.
Good evening, gonga and to everyone above. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif And what a spectacularly colourful way of greeting people to see that picture alongside good company.
It's a pleasure to say "evenin' Angel!"
I've seen them once from an Adirondack Lake - Lows Lake - got slides of them during sunset! But we only get 'em during peak solar activity - usually every 11 years, but this year's an amazing anomaly!
