it's been 6 mths since they disbanded. no i'm no teenybopper fan considering i'm exiting teenhood soon, and i don't own any of their albums, just mp3s.
but i their songs are just so bright and cheery and i love hearing them when i'm down. their ballads are great too.
in fact, 'Say Goodbye', coupled with their music video and the news that they were disbanding almost made me cry (which is really good coz i've been none to be outwardly stone-cold, but i'm warm and fuzzy when u get to know me!). so what if they were manufactured? they sounded great and they brought cheer to my life.

HI TR_Dan http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
I must say that I agree with you that their music was bright and cheery and I was surprised to learn that they were breaking up. I wasn't a fan or anything but I did like to hear their music which did help give you a lift. It's a shame really.
Did you like Rachel Stevens song? I didn't like it to begin with but after a while it grew on me and I really like it now. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Heya people!
Lil'kid: LOL!

TR_Dan: I understand what you are saying. They are teeny-bopey but they were fun and friendly and I couldnt help but sing along loudly to their songs. Its like Hi-5 in Australia. They are a kids band that sings about numbers and body parts but they are good value and good fun. I didnt know S-Club-7 are no more. I will mourn alongside you. :(

S Club is, or rather WAS a group of 7 singers, originally named S Club 7 until one of the members dropped out and they dropped the '7'.
They disbanded in May this year after 4 yrs of chart topping hit songs. They also have several TV series under their belts.

i got to learn of that band from the show, but how and why did they get dis-banded?

13-11-03, 22:02
I knew who they were but I never paid them any attention when they were live and kicking. I was only disappointed severely when S Club 8 replaced them cos it's just cheesier than Cheddar now, with a crowd of little kids jumping about on the stage. Kids that age don't realise how much harm fame like what they've now got can do to the mind... Dreams of fame can turn into nightmares, and depression in the long term. Now their whole lives will be tinged with this racognition factor, from which they may never be able to escape.

well, they were getting tired of the tween pop bubble, and one of them has a debilitating back disease which could leave her wheelchair-ridden...
