Here are my first attempts at drawing. I have been following quasimodos Tutorials. They are brilliant...but in this one..

I just can't seem to draw the eyebrow. Does anyone have any suggestions please? How to place it...and the shape?

Next is the lips. NOT so easy...but I'll keep practicing:D

Any suggestions on what sort of pencils to use would be most welcome.

You've definately got the technique there! I always start with HB or something softer and build up the shading with darker pencils once I have the initial shape. For the eyebrow, its usually an arched, soft triangle shape, and build it up with small pencil strokes to resemble hairs.

I love drawing in pencil ^_^

Maybe the folds could be a soft pencil line?

Thank you Love2Raid and Dazzy. :D Got a long way to go though.

Tried to fix the T Shirt and now it looks like a wooly jumper. Ha ha. Trouble with pencil drawing is there's no UNDO button

Thanks. Normally I'm pants at drawing...but I just followed the tutorials and...BINGO> Instant artist.:D:jmp:

But I still don't know how to use different hardness of pencils...so everything looks mushy. Will try with very hard and very soft pencil next.

And thank you again for your encouraging remarks.

:D You are now Dr. Nick Stygerein

You do not need to put scars between different parts of the drawing to join them! :D

Good start! Let's go! :tmb:

LOL. I don't think so. I'm just going to be worlds best ear eye nose and throat drawer. (Haley still does the best lips.)

 Nice of you to say so. I will definitely get going now.
