other than graphics and HDD/HD
i was playing TRL on PS3 this morning.
and i unlocked new outfits. the catsuit has these
very nice glasses. & the classic lara has her braid
all the outfits have changed. did anyone eles notice
this?

I'm pretty sure these are the same changes that were present in the 360 and PC next-gen versions (although the PC version doesn't have wet effects and the lighting is a bit strange, so the PS3 version probably looks better anyway :))

Yes it does but some people have been experiencing a pixelation problem and some others.
It's nothing too special but it kinda annoys.

I would take April 1st as being right then, your local stores should know by now when the game is being released in your region. The UK got the game 25th, does not mean all of Europe would though. At least April 1st is better than the original date, soon.

They just ported those games over to the PS3 to suck some more money off the trilogy, doubt they'd bother to rebuild meshes and enhace it too much.

yeah, the 360 version had the Braid and glasses, not sure about PC next gen though [i think it does] but i noticed new textures in Greece and egypt mostly brightened colors, expecially in Level 2 of Peru [TRA]

The glasses on the catsuit and snowsuit along with the braid on the classic outfit are present in the Xbox360 version and the "Next Gen" mode on PC.
So it isnt really anything new...

^ No. In the PS2 version of Legend for example there are no sunglasses neither there's a braid in the classic outfit.
This picture of the Classic Gray outfit when wet is awsome :yik: !!! In the PS2 version if you wear this outfit(and some others, I don't remember which they are) in Peru when she's about to jump off the truck a large triangle thingy comes out of her left leg xD .

(PS I noticed a bug in the mansion level of Anniversary. When you make the statue crash into the pool room, if you swim underwater for a bit and try to get out of the pool where you can't, once you force Lara out of the pool, the floorboards are sealed up again by magic, and the opening of the pool disappears again.)

I'm pretty sure they improved the actual TRA model. She appears to have more polygons to me (she has smoother curves on her chin, shoulders, etc.) It's more noticeable when a picture of the PS3 version is put next to the slightly blockier PC version.

It didnt, the PS2 ran the "Current Gen" version, which has no glasses or braid. Like the PC's default. The 360 version was the "Next Gen" version which had the glasses and braid along with other things, which was then poorly ported to the PC for "Next Gen Mode".

Since when were the commentary crystals in TRA ever pink? Or was that just something unique to the PS2 version that I missed. Every version I remember had blue crystals, but I do not think I ever bothered replaying after I finished the game on the PS2, Wii version was far more fun.
