It's funny what little thing can make the news when it's about the president. :p

The leader of one of the greatest superpowers in the world undermined by a lump of concrete. I thought the US shrugged off this sort of farce when they got rid of Bush. Apparently not :vlol:

He should have bought the 'option extra' hydraulic jacks to get it over the bump :p

Or a Land Rover :D
He could've had a Hummer, but I think Arnie owns all of those.

I went to school with the desie of being an electronic news gatherer. (camera man - who makes up these names?). I was turned off by a story regarding Ronald Reagan. He was having a basil cell lesion removed from his face. He was in the hospital overnight, and the following morning there were hundreds of video camera operators on the sidewalk outside his room. They were waiting for Reagan to come to the window and wave. It reminded me of the faithful waiting for the Pope to waive a blessing from his room on Sunday.

This wasn't news. This was paparazzi garbage disguised as news. I was so disheartened I changed careers. 25 years later the news is worse than ever. When Charlie Sheen takes five minutes of national news and the Gaza strip gets a few sentences you know there's a problem.

Pablum for the masses. Bread and circus as the country falls.

To be fair knightgames this isn't really making that big a headlines. On the BBC News website for example Obama's trip to Ireland is one of the main headlines. This is just a funny video the BBC put on there as well.

Thanks. I understand. It does make me wonder the difference between news from other countries. I listen to BBC on the radio. I try to watch McNeil Lehrer, as well as a few other sources. I'm conservative, but I rarely watch FOX. I think their news REPORTING is okay. Their commentary is ...... well..... Lets say I think they could do better. I don't think they are as bad as many think they are, though.
