Hi everyone

I'm thinking of getting a Nokia N-Gage with the Tomb Raider game. I was wondering if anyone new that this Tomb Raider game had cut-scenes and FMV sequences like the PC and PSX versions? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

That's a shame. Just another quick question, if I buy an N-Gage will it be compatible to play games straight away or do I have to buy something separate? (I'm not talking about the games themselves because I know you have to buy them separately). And will I able to go on the internet right away? Sorry just 1 more question, is this phone a top-up phone or a monthly bill. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Mark - Is the TR game any good?

The N-Gage is quite expensive, not to mention, I read somewhere that controling the games is quite difficult.

Good luck with it though!

Thanks LC8290. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Mark - Sorry for keep asking you questions but when I ment cut-scenes I didn't mean the cut-scenes where lara is talking I meant the cut-scenes that happen when you go into a room and lara stops and the camra goes round the area you are in.

Thank you

I promise this is the last. ;)

It actually does have the in-game cutscenes (like Lara and the fight with Larson), but the FMV's are missing due to lack of space (so they went with a book like approach in which you read the story in place of the FMV's.)

As for the camera-cutscenes, i reckon they should definetly be there as well.

Colin, I don't know... I haven't got N-Gage :D

Sorry Mark I thought you did. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif I just got my Nokia N-Gage today with the TR game, well my brother did actually. He brought them for me for a Christmas present. On Christmas day I'll tell you what I think of the game. But right now I think it's going to be a great. :D

BTW, when my brother was getting me the phone the man that was serving him said that the N-Gage is coming down in price because not many people are buying them because there way to expensive.

you can have the Nokia N-Gage both on pay monthly and on pay as you go. As for most phones, if you get it as a pay as you go it will be much more expensive, and I mean up to 250.00. If you already are on contract and are upgrading your phone after more than a year, it will probably cost you in between 0.00 and 50.00 - 80.00 depending on how expensive your contract is to start with. The Nikia N-Gage phone is made as a tri-band phone (it works all over the world) BUT on some networks (such as Orange) it is only dual (UK and Europe) while others don't offer it yet (Virgin). The plus of this phone is that you can store music files in it and if you, like me, still go around with a bulky portable CD player, then it is ideal. But then again if you really want a tri-band phone on one of our main networks it is NO good. Hugs,

Hi Steph http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

My brother already owns a Nokia mobile so he put the N-Gage he brought for me in his name because I wasn't them at the time. He got the N-Gage contract phone and because he put it in his name he didn't pay anything accept for the game itself. It's 20 a month with 3 month's free calls and so many free text messages. All in all I just can't wait to get this present and play TR1 again because it's been so long since I played it and I've heard that the unfinished business levels have been added to the game. I wonder if the home training level is available as well. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

Mark - it is great news especially if your thinking about getting one. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Exactly what I meant, you can actually get it free depending on the contract you are on. They should give me 7 free with my monthly bills being what they are HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! But I am on Orange and I want a tri-band phone so I have got some other Nokia, the 7210. Geez this is boring, cannot we talk something else?! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif
