Albert Einstein once said:

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science."

What would you say to that? Agree or disagree? I actually found it insighful- whether that is the MOST beautiful thing, I do not know but I'd have to say that I agree with him in the way that the mysterious does possess a quality that attracts many people. I find it to be beautiful.

Agree, but I also disagree. Nature in its true form is the greatest beauty we can ever experience. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I would love to go to Yosemite someday (summer preferrably) and try to be there to see the sun rise there. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I would say the heights that the human heart can sometimes reach is the most beautiful. And each person will (or should) have a different answer.

There's a point in that quote, but I think you can find beauty even in things that may seem insignificant, that are before your very eyes. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Rogue http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif Mystery isn't 'bneautiful' IMO. It's more.... intriguing & attractive

Beauty is a word, we invented it, the same as we named pretty much everything else we need to understand!
As far as i know we're the only specie to experience such a thing because of our intelligence. You all right in my opinion, beauty is what we see as an individual, nature itself as celli said is top on my list. But i find it in a lot of things both vast and small. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

I think the world would look different through the eyes of an artist as well. Hopefully better.

Rogue http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif I think this is true. The mysterious allows us to use our imagination and intellect. We are allowed to create our own version of beauty in our minds. Whereas if something is too loud and apparent then what you see is what you get and it will wear out quickly. Something that makes you wonder is spectacular.

Check your PM Isabella ;) I completely agree with you. I also agree with PSone because the mysterious is something intriguing and attractive but in respects the the art and science parts I'd have to go along with what Isabella so beautifully pointed out.

Hmmmm. No offence to anyone but- I think everyone has a different conception as to what is beauty and what makes something beautiful. For example I think Angelina Jolie is beautiful. On the other hand the pic posted above does nothing for me...
