View Full Version : What do you enjoy most about XNALara?

I mean everything related to XNALara: posing, creating complicated scenes in XNALara, editing the pictures afterwards, rendering scenes in another program, texture/mesh modding, competitions, extracting/porting models, or just viewing what others make... you name it!

I really enjoy to pose the models, especially when the result is just like I pictured it to be in my head. :D
I also love modding and competitions (speaking of them, we like totally need another one!).

I donīt really like after-editing, because I suck at it. :(
And waiting for Blender to finish rendering! :hea::p

I was about to say porting cause well after about two freakin' years i still enjoy it...but no

meshing my own characters togteher and make pics with them is what i enjoy most =)

I love your custom characters! :D

You can also add what you enjoy the least. XD

I forgot about the usual XNA-related drama on TRF, and renaming bones, that has got to be the most tedious and boring work ever. :vlol:

I love posing and making cool scenes that turn out well. XD
I also like posting my work, but only when I get comments back, which is like... never. lmao

Maybe it would be better to wait for the actual game to rip the model from. :p

True, but it is nearly August, so that is saying something. Not enough people seem to be interested...

November is not that far away... :p

I enjoy the freedom and how amazingly easy it is to use. Also it keeps the fan art very alive. :)

btw I've been thinking of making a Mythical Creatures competition, you know, you can turn any model to your favourite mythical creature. :o But yeah, like Love2Raid said, it's nearly August.. :o

I Love posing and especially moving the lights! :)
But also the after-effects in photoshop!

And also when you build a mod starting from a pic, and you see that the result is even better than what you originally imagined or even better than the original model/pic! :D

...or also when remaking the textures, and editing them to make a Next-Gen effects! :jmp:

BTW YES, we really need another XNALara cometition!!!!!!!!!

I remember some years ago when XNALara been just released, I really dont care about it... till the moment I started making my first outfit- Tomb Raider IX... It was really great, but there was one smaaaal problem- I didnt knew about rigging. But XNAaraL kindly helped me with it  from that moment we are friends :jmp:
I remember my first steps in rigging, my first steps in modding.
and now I'm able to create my own characters from scratch :jmp:
the only think I do for this 2.5 years - modding, and I like it.

And talking about competitions, I was about to say it too! I thought about a Resident Evil competition!! But idk... just an idea! :o

It's super fun to do :D. And ever since day 1 of this program, i am still amazed that we can use original game characters!

My favourite thing out of it is mesh modding for fun and making random pics/renders ;)

Just about...everything! :)
I always had a tendency for 3D,but found most 3D programs pretty hard to use. Surprised to discover how user friendly is XNALara :D
And since then it became my little addiction http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRgBXIO0dnBRDO7sBspavDC3XJMCtcSY c2PNZIiK2JeCE1PMRS5
