Went to a website tonight...one of those ones where someone says: it's pretty funny...go here.

Anyway, about 6 different pop-ups appear in the background. Damned annoying: you don't even know they are there unless you look for them. Is this something Microsoft has some control over?

In Service Pack 2 there is a pop - up blocker i think. Not sure, i don't use SP2 (yet).
You could download the Google toolbar, which stops pop ups (for free).
Or: type in your search-tool: pop-up killer and you'll get a list.

Or use one of the Mozilla suite browsers, which has a built in pop-up blocker. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif

You must always be careful when clicking on links. Many posted are from disreputable sites.
