I might not be in the right place to ask this, but I've spent all day trying to extract the 3D data from Google Earth, (the Las Vegas strip, to be precise), but to no avail, I don't even need the textures, I just want the 3D buildings data. I have tried this http://members.chello.at/alexan/ which shows it working in the pictures, but all I have got was a mush. :(

I'm trying it here first as I know some of you guys managed to extract game data out into 3D models... I'm hoping there'd be more experience in finding out what I need here?

this is the view I'm trying to extract:

(if you search for las vegas, it's just down the strip)

Can anyone help me? :( thanks in advance! <3
