Eeeek, starting 6th form on wed!!
I'm doing Biology, Physics and Chemistry..and I need A's in them so then I can go off to uni...

And then I'm just carrying on my R.E GCSE, which becomes Philosophy. I'll find out my timetable when we randomly go in with the first years >.< Ugh how stupid. An empty school, with us newbie 6th formers, and then the new kids.

I'm going to college! :yah:

Induction day: Wednesday 14th September <<(all MUST attend to secure their place!)>>
Then we start for real on: Monday 19th September!

We'll be giving a real timetable on induction day.

I'm taking:
- BTEC Applied Science Two Year

If I successfully pass my first year, I can move onto the second and by the end of it if I pass, I should have: 6 Qualifications:
- English
- Maths
- 4 Science

And if I get those qualifications...I can move onto...FORENSICS! :yah:

I'm dead excited, my interview was very last minute so I didn't think I had a chance THAT and my bestest bestest friend is doing the same course and two other friends are going to the same college as us! RESULT! :jmp:

You have all of that at the same time? D: Or is it separated by semesters?

Those are my lessons for each week :p I have each lesson for at last 35 minutes a week and, at the most, 3 and a half hours.

Before I did my GCSEs I had an extra six lessons to go to as well. They should just let me do the lessons that relate to the career I want to do when I'm older :pi:

We have terms, but they don't split up our subjects. We have ALL those every week ;) But sometimes they can be spread over 2 weeks, like mine were. It's just the way english schools work, and then individual ones do their own thing.

*Oh well, another explaination never hurt ;)

Sigh... this thread depresses me a little. For some reason regarding my month of birth and the month classes start people thought it would be best for me to repeat a random grade twelve or so years ago, because of that I'm just finishing high school instead of starting college. Heck, I don't know if I am going to go to college now. If it's going to be a boring, insipid ride full of boring, insipid people like high school and junior high (or the equivalents that are done here, now that I look back), I think I'd rather not go. And my problem is not because I do bad in school, not at all. I've always been top of my class and whatnot.

Oh well. I have from here to fall 2012 to change my mind up.

And now you know that.

The thing is even though you may get the occasional douche, they all will be leaving you alone, you'll be meeting friendly new people and everyone should be grown up and mature! :)

We've got a different school system here in Germany in which you don't have quite as much freedom when it comes to choosing your subjects (though, of course, some freedom).

Advanced Courses:

-Biology

Basic Courses:
-Art
-Politics
-Computer Science
-German
-Maths
-Religion (From a scientific (not a religious) point of view, fortunately.)
-Spanish (I hate it. Not because of the language but because of the teacher.)
-Trampolining (P.E.)

Mon/Wed (I work the rest of the week)
12:30 - Criminal Justice
2:00 - Art Survey II
3:30 -Values & Society
5:00 - Art Survey I

Only the art survey courses are actually going towards my BFA, but the other two at at least interesting. Next semester I'm hoping I can get into the stupid 2D design class I need before I can start taking the real art courses.

I'm really jelous of the people here who have a balanced timetable. If the past is any indication, then I'm sure my classes will be all over the place again. I remember last year I had to basically live at uni during Thursdays. Going to class at 10AM and getting home at around 9PM is really not fun. The whole day is shot to hell.

4th hour: Pop culture studys
God that sounds like so much fun. I never had this sort of classes back when I was in high school. The only time I had fun back then was basically lunch break.
