View Full Version : Are there times when you'd like to take back some of your posts?

If I could delete my posts, I would delete all my posts from 2007/2008 :o When I registered on this forum, I wasn't confident enough about my English, not to mention I couldn't even speak properly and I was acting like a spoiled little brat :p I remember, my posts were full of bright pink colour and I deeply apologize to anyone who was irritated by it :p I also wouldn't take part in the 'Core Design VS Crystal Dynamics' wars because (as I learned here) that's the most stupid thing you can do since we all have a different vision on Tomb Raider...

Well, and how about you guys? Anything you'd like to take back? :p

at least theres a edit button

Who doesn't? The good news is that whenever people post these kinds of threads, I never know what they're talking about. With so many active posters, it's hard to make that much of a negative impact unless you're going to be habitually annoying :p

Yeah. But sometimes, I wish I could take back an account I made on some another random forum, beacuse I was mostly a spammer/spoiled brat/idiot/
/jackass all the time before I came here. I even was a little bit of an spoiled brat here before I changed for better. :D

To some degree yes, mainly older ones from 2008-2009.

So I just edit them now, I don't care so much about them being deleted any more tbh.

Sometimes I wish I could go back on what I say as it can be hard to get the gist of my posts through typing it.
Also, in the least rude way possible, I wish I could delete some other peoples posts because sometimes people post the most stupid answers I could ever see. :p But that's very occasional :ton:

Well, I've only been on TRF for a little over half a year, so not really - but somehow I wish I could delete my review threads for TR2 and TR3, they're both rather short and boring compared to ones I've done recently. :o

Also, I'd like to take back the extremely anti-AoD comments I made upon arrival to this site, within the 6 months here I've grown to appreciate it a little more. :whi: :p

All the time. There are posts I would delete because they are neither funny, nor smart, nor clever, just wasting on bandwitch and bites; but I wouldn't delete my old posts. Yes, they are mostly stupid, with a poor level of English, and completely cringeworthy, but they also show that I've learned a little in four years. It's all about your roots. You can't forget where you come from, son.

Sometimes I wish I could take back other people's posts, too. Some really silly things are said in this forum everyday (including myself, specially myself).

Rai
07-09-11, 23:19
Not really. What I said at any given time, I probably meant it. And even though I may have changed my mind or may have answered a topic differently had I thought more about it, there's nothing to be gained wishing you could change your past forums self's posts. Like anything in life, we learn from our mistakes, mature etc and make different choices and that includes how we act on a public forum.

Boy, that was deep :p

However, the Edit button is my best friend on here, so I wouldn't mind correcting old spelling or grammar mistakes:vlol:

Hi im new to these fourms :)

im also at the official TR forums and trle.net
(yes im also a custom level designer)
Well that's not so bad...
Please Eidoes and Crystal Dynamics consider
Since the PS2 version is coming out in January 2009, that means its still under developement. Could I ask that since this is problay lara's last inning on the ps2, that you make it special? Sort of how the developers of Star Wars: The Forced Unleashed did with the ps2 version?
Some ideas include, Take full advantage of the ps2's hardware
Lots of extra content
and maybe include a sort of small continuation of TRU.
I just dont want a simple port, but something very special for Ps2 ownwers who want to buy the ps2 version or if thats the only version they have. Like I stated above, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed did.
Spell check...was not in my vocabulary.

I can't search for individual posts of mine which make me cringe, though. Just threads.

When I came onto the site, I probably would've given it a 4/10... now it's more like a 5.5. I still don't really care for the mess of a game it is, but there are some things I can appreciate about it - like the awesome Louvre Galleries. :tmb:

This **** is addictive. I spent the entire noon browsing through my ancient posts and damn...did I find a true gem.

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Mass Effect. Both are really games, as far as I can tell yet.

I can't believe I was so amazingly bright back then. My current observation skills can't compare. D:

EDIT: But I admit, my taste was seriously messed up.

Red Faction 2 (I just can't realise why didn't this game reach the same popularity as it deserved, because it's simply great)
