Lara's Childhood Experiences (http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?p=5704394#post5704394)

I live in Putney, a part of London located in the south-west. My sister had her secondary education in Wimbledon High School, not far from here! I remember when I asked my sister to ask the teachers at school if Lara was a good pupil or not, and apparently the teachers said that she Lara at Geography and Ancient History. :vlol: Wimbledon High is a really good school, I wasn't surprised when I read Lara's bio on TombRaiderChronicles.com!

I also enjoy chatting up Wimbledon High girls on the bus, they can be good fun!!!

I also pass by Parkside Hospital (Lara's birth place) every day, as the bus which goes to my school drives past it. It's placed right next to a great big common (Wimbledon Common), and is located on Parkside Ave, one of the most expensive streets in my part of London (houses sell for around 5,000,000 :cln:).

Also, my neighbour was once a surgeon in Parkside Hospital, and when I asked him about Lara he said that an episiotomy was required to deliver her! :vlol: (yet another joke, of course)

It seems a bit strange creating a thread about this, but I thought it was too good not to share! :D Also, if anyone is interested, I might post some location pics...(where Lara might've played, gone swimming extra...;))

When I go to England, I'd like to visit all these places. Are there any pics?

Lara's Childhood Experiences

As I have the 'privilege' of living basically right in the centre of where Lara grew up, I decided to do a photo montage of Lara's 'virtual' childhood, so basically showing in which places Lara might've played around in if she was a real person. Of course, apart from dates and birth/school locations, which I read from TRC, all the other info is made up completely by me. :vlol: But still, I hope you enjoy reading this post anyway! And perhaps in the future, I could link the images to GPS co-ordinates, so if anyone wants to visit these places in real life, they know where to go! :D

All photos are made by me, except for the school and hospital photo as I couldn't get a good shot :p (and the Lara gifs, of course ;))

Well, of course Epsom Downs is better! :vlol: But still, knowing that Wimbledon Common is only half an hour from the centre of London (well, depends on the traffic :ton:), it's still pretty respectable! :D

No, I get Concorde. :ton: But theoretically, you can get to at least Chelsea in half an hour, and that's down the road from the city centre.
