Hiya Neil, nice resolution, try the Atkins diet, 50 million cant be wrong!!

I am going to quit smoking. Last year it was to be good to my mother and I was really good at that this year so hopefully I will be able to stick to this no smoking thingy.

Mine is:

1) to get my license. I'm almost 18 and I still don't have it yet! (I can get mine at 16 in Arizona).

2) start college happy. I love high school, I'm going to miss everything about it.

3) go volunteer at the arizona humane society again. It's been 7 months since I last went! I feel so guilty. Maybe in the summer work in a hospital.

Resolutions I can live with:

Don't stress out so much about work.
Take less work home.
Take time to do simple things I enjoy.
Play more with my kids.
Play piano more.
Don't forget to kiss and hug as much as possible!

I'm looking forward to the new year already!

My new years resolution is too eat less chocolate :D but i doubt i will stick to itLee, come out with me, I am a chocolate expert and when it comes down to a diet...well, chocolate is points-free (Weight Watchers) and calorie-free (all other diets).

My new year resolution is to make no more resolutions! I came across my 2002 diary the other day and the first page read:

1- to stop swearing like a sailor in private and especially in public;

2- to lose 4 stone and become a willowy woman, I almost have a PhD surely I can weight 8 stones right?!;

3- to write the whole of my PhD and become the quickest PhD researcher-ever.

Luckily they were only 3. So this year, no more of this bull****.

By the way, I am half-way through my PhD and I still have a filthy mouth.

And I am still as fat.

11-12-03, 11:06
To NOT eat the whole batch of Annacia's "Easy Outrageous Peanut Butter Cookies" that I'm going to bake!!

Steph - LMAO! :D I'm sure you're lovely. And being able to swear like a trooper is really quite an accomplishment (it's such a rare talent among academics)! ;)

My resolution for this year was to give up gaming - and I managed it all the way through to last week, when I caved in and finally bought AOD! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif (It's been such a lousy year, I figured that I didn't owe it anything anymore). http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

My resolutions for next year are conveniently alphabetical (they need to be - otherwise I'll forget 'em in a second)! They are:

W - writing (finish my novel)
X - Xander (spend more time with my son)
Y - yoga (tone up)
Z - Zen (keep a positive, pragmatic outlook)

Maybe for 2005 I'll think of an A, B + C. :D

Mine are:

1) Stop being so lazy when it comes to school(that is: work harder and not skip school as much as I have)

2) Hang out with my friends more

3) Lose weight indeed!!!!

4) Stop being such a huge spender of money

5) Be a bit less hot-tempered and stubborn and not bark at my parents if I have a bad day or they're nagging at me

:D Doubt I'll ever manage to keep them, but it's worth a shot http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif ;)

I'd love to lose some weight & get up every morning & do my yoga exercises...but I seem to say almost the same thing every year. LOL, but maybe this will be THE year. :D
