Here's my dog. Pictures i just made.
To make the picture, i'm holding the puppet that she wants me to throw so she can hunt it:

Getting impatient (just like human women):

And: no, she has not one bigger and one smaller eye. One eye has a black border, the other has a blank. ;)

Joseph
13-02-05, 22:41
ELEN: it's not a carpet, it is vinyl. It is not glued to the floor. The blue part you see on the pic is 2 half-room pieces not entirely fitting. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif
I am not spending my hard-earned money to my floor-surface. ;)

I'm single on Valentines Day as well. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif Well, then again, I've never not been single on Valentines Day or any day for that matter. I'm in no rush and the truth is I never really was, because if I were then I would have had a bf before. I enjoy the single life. My Dad has been my Valentine for all the 18 years of my life, but he's in Iraq now, but he's still my Valentine. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Oh, and your dog is so cute Joseph! And yes, impatient just like us ladies are. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif haha!

Joseph
13-02-05, 22:45
It's the place where i often work (make paintings) also, so there are many stains of paint on the vinyl also (out of the composition of these photos).

Single and cool with it. My latest ex-boyfriend and I actually ended on a Valentine's Day, so... meh. In Portuguese, it isn't called Valentine's Day, it's more Boyfriends' Day, so, from then on, it became Ex-Boyfriends' Day to me, eheheh! Anyways, a happy one for you all. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

Nice doggy, Joseph. :D

And, Draco, good luck with the miss!

Aww... erm.. aww @ everyone.
http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I'm going to be alone on 'Singles Awareness Day', does that count?

Ya know thinking about it, I only really get to see my other half for a few days every month. There has been 'the talk' recently given scheduals.. it is odd which situations provide this strife though isn't it?

It's like, if I were still in the RAF, and was posted overseas.. then this wouldn't be any sort of issue. I think it's more cause, we're close (250miles) but that said, we're not close enough. So by the time either one of us drives to the other, you end up basically crashing out and leaving early to get to work again. It's even worse between us, cause she works close to 7-day weeks. :: shakes fist at ineffienct NHS! ::

So why is it that, that kind of long-distance... well medium distance is just stressful at times, where'as a true long-distance is alright?
Or maybe it's just who your with that's the difference.?

heh.. damn not being young enough to know everything, is what this is ;) (Oscar Wilde for those wondering the quote)

well happy Single Awareness Day everyone.. are ppl suppose to ware little red/blue/green/white lapel Crosses or something? most of these Awareness days seems to have thier own variation on the lapel cross now.

Anyway, today it is just an excuse for shops to sell heart shaped presents and stuff like that.

I only know this Joseph:
There are varying opinions as to the origin of Valentine's Day. Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer's daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it "From Your Valentine". Other aspects of the story say that Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying him. In 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honour St. Valentine.

Gradually, February 14 became the date for exchanging love messages and St. Valentine became the patron saint of lovers. The date was marked by sending poems and simple gifts such as flowers. There was often a social gathering or a ball.

In the United States, Miss Esther Howland is given credit for sending the first valentine cards. Commercial valentines were introduced in the 1800's and now the date is very commercialised. The town of Loveland, Colorado, does a large post office business around February 14. The spirit of good continues as valentines are sent out with sentimental verses and children exchange valentine cards at school.

Quite cute dog, Joseph. Though I am a cat person. ;)

Single and unhappy people: Think that Valentines is only celebrated in some parts of the world. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Makes everything much better.

We don`t celebrate Valentines here... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Actually I read in a survey recently. Only 30% of the males even KNEW what Valentines was...
Only people aged 10-16 years try to copy countries that celabrate Valentines...

Oh Joseph, you've got to stop posting pictures of Chica, she is so cute, I want to pick her up, squeeze her and kiss her cute little face. What a little angel she is. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

As for Saint Valentine, being a Christian saint, I have no interest in him or his history Joseph, so can't tell you about him. But I'd bet money Valentine's day replaced an original Pagan festival.

Gosh ...i think we need a new topic where people can give their pets a little recognition....My dog just turned six less than a month ago and i think he's going through a depression phase...maybe because none of us have much time for him. I wish I could turn him back into a puppy!!!!
