View Full Version : X-mas shopping
Have you done yours yet? ;)
If so, what did you buy and who for?
I am going today, to get mine. I can't think of what to buy my brother though. I think it will have to be a DVD. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif
Not yet but I hope next week!!
*shopping therapy* (I really need this :D )
You gotta love shopping. :D
How do you celebrate Christmas in Greece? is it the same as here? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Well, I haven't been in England before, so I have no idea what's going on there :D I could say though that Christmas is an important celebration for us. 25&26 of December and 1&2 of January we don't work http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
We do not work on those days too, unless you have certain job. It's madness here in December, we have to go Christmas shopping at 9 in the morning just so we can find a space to park the car. And this is only in York. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Oh yes, I am practically a professional shopper, hahahaha. I have bought loads of things here and there like some alpaca scarf for my mum, and a Concorde silver keyring for my dad (yes, he was very sad when she retired  ), stuff for my dogs, a Barbie for me, loads of chocolates...etc...etc.... At the moment I am concentrating on decos. I buy bits and pieces and put together centrepieces and wicker wreaths. Man, it's so much fun!!!
Hi Rommie http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
We've got the kids presents, that's sorted.
I just need to get something for my dad + step-mum and brother.
I think it's harder to get a present for a bloke than a woman. My dad definately dosen't want any more smellies, or he'll end up opening up his own boots store otherwise.
I think that they get fed up with socks and jumpers so I would like to look for something different.
Ah well, I'll find something.
Hope you get want you want Rommie. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
I went out shopping with my dad today....I have bought a beautiful glassbowl and a body lotion for my mom, but that's pretty much as far as I've gotten. My dad bought me two DVD's, a cd and a book for Christmas, + he'll give me some money....really exciting when you are choosing your own gifts huh???? ;) I'm getting the sportsbook for my dad, like always.....he's gotten that for every Christmas for the past 28 years now...it's all he wishes for. I'm getting a perfume for my best friend.....so I'm only stuck with my sis and her husband....I have no idea what to get them....probably a giftcard from some household decorating store  http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I'm gonna buy a few CDs. Don't know which yet but music is an addiction of mine, so CDs are definitely in the 'list' http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif Some older CDs by HIM, I think, and some others.
My sister and I are thinking of buying a DVD player as a present for the house http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif
And as I've said before, I'd love to buy me a laptop, but I don't see any light in the next months. The prices are too high atm

I went shopping on Black Friday and came home with a Black Eye. Who says shopping isn't a competitive sport? :D

It's quite funny what happened, I got in a fight with a box. I was in the throng of people at Wal-Mart, trying to get my hands on an item. When I pulled it off the shelf, something was on top and I looked up just in time to get the black eye. A bit dazed for a moment, but I continued shopping all day at the mall :D
