Where'd you get that info? It's wrong, since ABC says it's

This is crazy. Every site has a different number. They don't match with each other...

That is because they are using Exit Polls.

The 'xx% Precincts Reporting' at the bottom is how much of it is official.

A sad, sad day.

Well, I'm extremely happy right now. :D I stayed up until 4 AM (eastern time) watching everything on the news, and I had to wake up for school about an hour ago, 7:00 AM. So I've not had much sleep, but how can I when the elections are on!?!?!

It's looking good for Bush, it's safe to say he wins the election. He hast he most points right now, and he is leading in every other state that hasn't been counted yet. So that's a great thing. It was sort of close earlier, but it looks like the rest won't be, we will have at least 285 points when this is all over.

I think we Americans picked right, and when Bush is in office, I am always more proud to be American. So that's a wonderful thing. I just can't stop thanking God!! Yeesterday morning, when I woke up, all I was getting so worried with the elections so I just had to stop and pray, and that helped a whole lot. Personally, I think that the more people in America that pray for our president and our country the better, and it most definately makes a difference.

I am just overjoyed right now!!! President George W. Bush is such an amazing person, I look up to him and just respect him so much! He really does care about the well being of our country, and that is such a noble thing. Right now, I couldn't be mroe proud to be American!!! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

I've stated that I have faith that George W. Bush is re-elected. Why? I just think of the future for the Middle-East and know...

It's Bush. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Ugh... another four years of "let's amend the consitution because of the Christian values we try to force on everyone else!!" and "let's kill the environment!"

On the other hand... I think Bush will help the economy somewhat. I still don't like him.

I don't like him at all, and I don't think he's going to help the Middle East much, unless he works with other countries, which is not really what he's been doing up to now.
Anyway, I don't care much about the American economy, military or healthcare, as I'm not American. But I am glad that American presidents can only serve two terms in office, and as my firiend said, the sooner he's out of the way the better.

Isabella
03-11-04, 18:45
There is a huge divide in the country now. Left and right, I hope there is a way to find commen ground. I'm very sadened that Kerry didn't win but I'm taking some comfort in the fact that I live in a blue state and that a president cannot serve more than 2 terms.

Well played on both sides.

Quiver.
03-11-04, 18:46
Yeah your right Lemmie...
but he is President for the next four years so we can better accept that because there is nothing we can do against it...

so lets hope he change his mind and work together with other countries...

Hi again Murphy http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif You seemed so confident from the start and I wish I was too, but all of the poll results worried me to death! Come to find out, those poll results were so inaccurate it's crazy. lol. But I'm just glad Bush won, and what makes it even better is that he got the record of the most poular votes EVER! So that is so awesome! I'm so glad yo uvoted, and I dunno what state you live in, but I hope it went red haha. *High fives* http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-5.gif

Well, living in a country where one province has been trying to separate from us for years, probably doesn't give me much in the way of credentials. (And I say...let them go, but in the doing, cut off all their money.) :D

But: it's time for you to now find your common ground, & pull together for at least the next 4 years.

04-11-04, 17:43

Whether or not you believe in something, God, Buddah, Allah, Isis, ect...They are all the same thing. No one is right or wrong, all that matters is that we repect eachother.

Religion is one thing, Politics is another. It's wrong to think that someone else's beliefs make them less valuable just because they aren't your own. It's for this reason the two issues shouldn't mix. A vote for someone should be based on their ability to lead, make decisions and reach across to all walks of life. Religion is very personal and should never ever be used as a political tool to gain favor among voters.

Not to say that only good people will ever get in office, I think sometimes God allows bad things to happen; however, this was definately not a bad thing.

Oh, and Isabella, I totally disagree with you when you say God, allah, budah etc. all fall into the same category because they don't. God is the ONLY god, not them. I don't even like to call my beliefs a religion, because I don't like it to fall in that category. There is only one true God.

Oh, and Draco, you said something along the lines of " Even if there is a God, Hw wouldn't care about something like that." Well, I have a verse to prove that wrong.

Luke 12:6-7 " Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows." I could come up with more, but I just grabbed something from the top of my head. You see, if God cares about the little things, such as the sparrows, then wouldn't you think He would care about the well being of our country too? Of course! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
