Yes, i was going to soon! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif Seen some aperitifs of it, feel hungry for the big meal already!

Talking about "references to other movies" in a movie http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif , i remember "Dead men don't wair plaid", loved it.

DEAD MEN DON'T WEAR PLAID (1982)
Steve Martin, Rachel Ward, Reni Santoni, Carl Reiner. (Guest starring: Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, James Cagney, Barbara Stanwyck, Alan Ladd, Burt Lancaster, Ray Milland, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Charles Laughton, Vincent Price, Edward Arnold, Ava Gardner, Kirk Douglas, Ingrid Bergman, Fred MacMurray, Veronica Lake, Lana Turner). Cheeky comic homage to classic film noir of the 30s and 40s with Martin as private eye Rigby Reardon investigating some mysterious lists that leads him into interaction with film stars culled from famous genre flicks often flawlessly. Fine detailed production design and vintage evoked cinematography by Michael Chapman create a gimmick that rises above the possible one note idea. Last film costume genius Edith Head, who painfully recreated the exactness of the looks of the cinematic past, worked on is in fact a fine tribute. Reiner also co-wrote and directed.
Got this info from here. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083798/)

I loved it too!

I liked the little things like when the people run from one starbucks across the street to the next one (when they're crushed by the huge gingerbread man) and also the Versace reference: Versacery! And ofcourse John Cleese and Eddie Murphy are marvelous! :D http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I rent out the DVD and i saw the Far Far Away Idols competition with Simon, it was awsome. You can vote your favourite Idol and then he wins, but if you vote a stupid guy, Simon starts to sing. http://www.shrek2.com/FarFarAwayIdol/

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif There is actually a full song with a video that Antonio Banderas singed about the Boots Will Walk All Over You. It was very cool and i was so dissapointed that they did not put it in the video.

 In the first movie, it was said that a witch put a spell on Fiona that turned her into an Ogre. Was that just a cover up story by her Father, i mean Queen Lillian did not even knew that her husband was a frog.

 I wonder if Prince Charming will take revenge on Shrek for his Mother's death in the second movie, besides we can't just leave him out of the story.

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I hope King Harold will be turned back into a man, besides who want's to sleep with a green slimey Frog.

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif I hope Shrek and Fiona get's Children, then they drop them off at Donkey and Dragon with their Donkey Dragon Mutant Children.
