You know how they are usually dreadful...boring...or you or your spouse drinks too much...?

This one was fine...lovely dinner, wine, little bit of dancing, left right on time...fun evening!

Glad you enjoyed yourself this year Taz. Here's to next years being just as good. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

I'm in hospitality and this is the busiest season so we have our Christmas parties in January when the rush is over. So I still gotta wait a month longer. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Hate parties cos everyone's just obsessed with over-drinking and people at my work don't really have conversations that are too interesting. Always dating, celebs and how drunk they got. *Nearly dies of boredom.*

Only good party I ever went to was where I volunteer with the mentally ill adults-No booze and just geared for fun and half decent conversation. We were being silly and chasing eachother round with party poppers to make wigs. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif Now that's what I like, socialising without needing to be drunk, interesting chat and a bit of puerile fun. ;)
