A cafe created for the World Design Capital festival in Helsinki is letting people reshape its interior design over the internet.

Anyone with a computer or smartphone can change the height of the chairs and tables, dim the lights or be the DJ at the Kauko Cafe.

The experiment is being broadcast live on the internet and all the customers get a free coffee.

Eric Camara reports.

Wow, that is neat. It's unfortunate anyone can manipulate what is going on, though. Well, at least in my opinion. :p

So, I could be sitting and drinking coffee and somebody could randomly decide it'd be funny to lower my seat and turn the lights down when it's night time?

Yep. However, I don't think they would allow anyone to be harmed during it all.

It sounds like a gimmick. I don't wan't my table to be raised whilst drinking a coffee... what If it spills on me. :o

Looks quite cool though.

Yes but you get your coffee for free. :D

So I assume they'd be charging people to alter the cafe then.
