As for me, heavy metal (not the ugly kind), pop, rock, techno, dance, game soundtracks and a couple of rap songs, but I don't particularly like rap all that much. :)

It was just odd for me, I like metal but I felt like it was forced on WW to make it "dark". :p

I dunno why you put "dark" in quotes since you weren't quoting me, but ok.
I LOVE metal in games. There isn't enough of it. >.<
It's hard to explain but everything I listen to but on my last.fm, is pretty much my music taste.

Everything.
I like everything.
To an extent, that is.
There is no such thing as a bad genre.
Just bad artists.
Fun (?) fact: I wasn't too hot on metal until I played BlazBlue.

Anything my ears like... I thought I hated rap but then Eminem came along... :p So basically anything I bother taking an effort to listen to properly. I'm still on the fence about dubstep though :pi: All the techno music genres never really grew on me :|
And yessss Michael frickin' Jackson baby!!
Sadly, I discovered his awesomeness after he died. I'd only heard a couple of his songs when he was alive :/ My dad began playing all his songs nostalgically and I fell in love with 'em.
Mostly Rock and Pop, there's also some - proper - Rap I enjoy.

Alternative, Indie music.
And dubstep :)
Anything but heavy metal/screamo.
Exactly the same, I forgot to mention that I really dislike "music" that sounds like noise. I used the term "music" loosely, lets face it it's just screaming and it's awful!
I pretty much listen everything but I avoid that type of noise, it does my head in.

Pop music, with some exceptions.
I used to worry about people perceiving me as having shallow music taste, but really, I don't care.

Well, I don't really consider myself a genre person, I listen to a lot of music from different genres, but the ones I listen to the most are probably Classical, Metal and Pop. There are some I don't like very much, like Hip Hop and Rock. But I'm more about artist than genres.

I LOVE Metalcore (Most people would call it "Screamo" because the singer will scream and growl lyrics from time to time during the song, favorite artists are Asking Alexandria, Parkway Drive, and The Devil Wears Prada), Electronica/ Dacne and DJ (The main artist for me is Blood On The Dance Floor) Dubstep, I don't have a favorite artist for that, I just like listening to remixes of songs and such, then we get into J-Core/Dark House (RoughSketch is my favorite artist in this department, seriously, look him up) and of course I love regular Rock, such as Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Flyleaf, Green Day, and My Chemical Romance.
Oh, and I DESPISE Country, and can only tolerate SOME rap.
And every once in a while I might hear a song on the radio I like and I'll look it up later and discover a new genre I like.
Oh, and I DESPISE Country,
Red solo cup, I lift you up. Let's have a party! :cln:

His music is very emotional, not like I imagine most country, which is why I asked. But I might be wrong.
My favorite genre is Native American Techno Folk Music.

I like Pop.
I like R&B.
I like some Rock.
I don't like Metal.

There is no such thing as a bad genre.
I suppose it's time to play hypocrite, though it's more of a sub-sub-genre.
I loathe dubstep.
To balance it out with ♥positivity♥, my preferred forms of electronic music include eurobeat and trance. Especially eurobeat. I just love that hyper sugary crap.
