View Full Version : My Spelling
An few comments have been made as to the poor quality of my spelling. I apologize for this, as a forum mod it should be better. It is the result of life long dyslexia. Everything I see is inside out. My eyes and brain take the center letters of a word and moves them to the front and or back. When typeing the letters move around on the keyboard. I try to compensate but don't always do a good job. I have typed this very slowly and then corrected(more than once). I hope it's right.
Thanks for your patience everyone.
Okay - whoever's been making comments about ace in ANY derogatory capacity can take note: Annacia is an absolute bloody god-send to this forum; an honest, honourable and supportive friend to many.
We all know that it's the right of every forum member to post their reflections here (within reason), but those who do so without regard for the feelings of others bring nothing of value to the forum.
Annacia. Fret not my dear. Only simple unoccupied minds would be entertained with such trivialities.
btw ace - you've never dropped a stitch in all the times we've chatted. Dyslexic you may be; outstanding you are. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
I cannot believe that people can be so petty?!? I'm embarrassed on their behalf! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif I'm with Jiao on this. Cheek! Who amongst us is better then anyone else?
.. and the simple perpetrator of tonight’s infraction is currently enjoying his second 7-day vacation from the forum in as many weeks. To be honest, I'm seriously debating whether or not to enable his account in 7 days time; such is the infinitesimal positive elements he brings to the community.
Some people live their life angry, encumbered with a troubled sediment that manifests into a tempestuous relationship with the outside world. This misdirected approach is an awful waste of energy, and a quite tragic bearing on a community boiling with warmth and friendship.

I really admire your courage and honesty at admitting your dyslexia on the forum in front of all its members. My hubby is 36 and is only about halfway there in admitting to himself that he is dyslexic. He suffered bullying at school as a result of it, and not one teacher recognized that he could have a problem. Hopefully one day he will get there!
I agree with all of you guys. Annacia, you are really a great person and shouldn't mind what a**** like that say: only idiots think that they're a lot better than everyone else  And I haven't noticed your misspellings one bit, I'm full of them myself.....and I'm not dyslexic....anyone can make mistakes(even the jerk talking about yours) ;) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
don't worry about it Annacia at least you have a good reason mine is just done to not being able to spell.
