The word "Naminé" actually means "name" in some other language, but I'm not sure which. I just love the way it sounds and it's so unique. I would definitely name my first daughter that. :p

I think you can get away with a lot more in North America for some reason, but in the UK, if a kid has a name out of the ordinary, they've had it on the playground.

There's a footballer for the team I support called Stacy Long. I have no idea why his parents thought it was acceptable to give him a girls name. He must have got tortured. Either that, or he was that good at football that no-one cared.

My point wasn't that there aren't any. I'm sure there are. It's that I don't generally consider it to be a name for both genders. :p

I guess it doesn't matter, though...

Boy names for girls and vice versa can be cute sometimes. :D

Oh, my bad :)

And yeah, I agree. Although I think famous people are far more able to pull it off than regular civilians haha

Agreed. :) For example, I'm male and my name is Jesse, which is more of a girl's name. But it can be a boy's name too and I think it's a great name for a boy.

The best, most beautiful, most epic name: Alexander. Just saying the name makes me think of epic battles and generals. I love it to bits. I don't ever plan on having kids, but if I ever had a boy, that would be my absolute first choice because it would automatically make his life a little more awesome.
