Avalanche boss Christofer Sundberg has confirmed the developer will show one of its new projects for the first time this year at E3.

Sundberg, however, confirmed to IGN (http://uk.games.ign.com/articles/122/1220391p1.html?RSSwhen2012-03-08_175000&RSSid=1220391&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ignfeeds%2Fall+%28IGN+Complet e%29) the project in question wasnít Just Cause 3 or Renegade Ops 2 Ė both IPs are owned by Square Enix and Sega respectively.

Rather, itíll be a licensed title that isnít from a movie.

ďWe arenít particularly interested in movie-based games,Ē he said. ďI think the whole industry destroyed that. So much moneyís been pumped into those crappy games, itís amazing. Itís really scary when you look at how bad they are.Ē

Sundberg wouldnít say if the title unveil, one of two games coming from the studio next year, had anything to do with the long-rumoured title related to the new Max Max film that former God of War director Cory Barlog, now at Crystal Dynamics (http://www.vg247.com/2012/03/02/cory-barlog-heads-to-crystal-dynamics/), was involved with.

But he did confirm the new game would run on a modified version of the Avalanche Engine that powered Just Cause 2.
