It may seem a little strange, but George Washington has been cropping up everywhere in games these days. Our first president is an important figure in Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed 3 (http://www.gameinformer.com/p/ac3.aspx), and a clockwork version of Mr. Washington is one of the new enemy types in BioShock Infinite (http://www.gameinformer.com/games/bioshock_infinite/b/ps3/archive/2012/03/08/stare-into-the-dead-eyes-of-bioshock-infinite-39-s-motorized-patriot.aspx). Don't forget his role in The Conduit 2 (http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/05/04/no-seriously-you-need-to-watch-this-ending-cinematic-from-the-conduit-2.aspx), either. Could George Washington be the Next Big Thing in gaming, joining the ranks of mainstays such as bald space marines, crash-prone helicopters, and the almighty exploding barrel? Let's take a look at how his presence could make just about everything better.

So, the guy is mentioned in three games and that's enough for GI to write an entire article and tell us that he's been "cropping up everywhere in games these days"?

Slow news day me thinks.

It's Game Informer, they desperately pay publishers for their ****ty "hubs" and exclusivities. You can't expect much from them.

They failed to mention what is certain to be a runaway hit and the best of the bunch. I quote from the Gamer Typhoon preview:

Yeah, he's an old man with powdered, white hair. And his choppers are real ivory from a walrus. Not to mention that he's the President of the new United States. But when night falls, he and his incredible "free slave army" ride over the wild country in Ben Franklin's flying machine battling the evil aliens masquerading as Indians. And woe to any alien bastard who dares challenge "Whitey" Washington and his Freedom HandCannon!
