Who doesn't know Petra Kvitova? I mean there are few, but how could I miss a girl who won more Grand Slam trophies than Andy Murray? :p
But most of the time, specially recent times, quite few new comers coming in Women championship, winning 1 title, then they fade away. Look Ana Ivanovic, Li Na, Kvitova the list goes on.
Kvitova has only won one Grand Slam trophy. :confused:
Besides, they don't "fade away". All those players you listed are either in the top 10 or close it.

I'm also hoping we get to see Murray finally winning a Grand Slam, but I have my doubts.
Can't wait to see how will Djokovic do, he is kinda falling apart after winning this year Australian Open...

A lot of the guys do it as well, just not so high pitched tho. :p Sharapova is pretty noisy.

Berdych's chair and bag blew onto the court when Murray was serving in last game. :D Crazy conditions, ruining the match a bit.

Glad to see Murray in the final, after a 5-7 6-2 6-1 7-6 (9-7) win over Berdych. :D
And it looks as if Ferrer Vs Djokovic has been postponed with Ferrer leading 5-2.

Yeah cause without extra advantages, Murray doesn't stand a chance. :p Anyhow, its 4 sets and Djokovic have to play 3 straight days at Flashing Meadows, Murray seems to have a great chance of winning.

8-6 to Djokovic in their head to heads so pretty close. Djokovic is really tough to beat on a hard court tho. Murray will have to be at his best to have a chance.
Lendl won his first Grand Slam on his 5th attempt so hopefully that is an omen.:)
Murray has James Bond on his side as well.

She's pretty unstoppable if her mind is in the right place.
Poor Victoria Azarenka.
To fight so hard, to get so close, and then be unable to finish it. Nobody except her fans thought she had a chance, and she was tantalizingly close to winning it all.
Much better match than most people believed it would be.

He destroyed Djokovic in the last set, amazing courage to come back from that hole he was in.
Wimbledon final, Gold and silver at Olympics, US Open champion.
Been a good few months for Andy, best player in the World on current form.
I've never been an Andy Murray fan, but he won me over with his heart-wrenching post-match speech at Wimbledon.
I'm happy to see him finally break through and shed the "Best Player Never To Win a Major" label that's been haunting him since 2008.
Congrats to Andy, he really deserved it. It was a great final!

What a night that was, was emotionally draining watching it. Such a dramatic match, some of the rallies seemed to go on forever. :D
So happy for Andy Murray, he thoroughly deserved his first Grand Slam. Was an impressive comeback by Djokovic tho, he is such a tough player to beat.

Murray was never in danger of holding the mantle of 'best player to never win a major' - that distinction firmly belongs to Marcelo Rios. I saw him play twice; he was an absolute genius. Far more enjoyable to watch than defensive baseline sluggers like Nadal, Djokovic and Murray.
Tennis should never be about stamina and marathon matches. It should be about flair, skill and going for winners. Such a shame they slowed down most of the GS surfaces so drastically.
