Sorry to have been gone so long. I hurt my back last week. I was installing a replacement graphics card, but I had problems and I was sitting down too long and I could hardly move the next day! I was in pain and could hardly walk. I even missed work.

I forgot to move the monitor cord from the default output to the graphics card. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-1.gif Then my games were hesitating and not working right. I heard the hard drive head moving so I guessed maybe a program was running in the background. I disabled the Spy Sweeper program and now the games run fine. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif That was very lucky. But it took me hours to figure all this out, and that's how I got the sore back. From now on, I stand up every 15 minutes to stretch or move around a little.

Well, I finished Lud's Gate with only 3 secrets out of possible 6. But that's OK. I moved on to City. I beat the lady with the lightning bolts without using any help from walkies or tips. First I tried to shoot it out with her. I used the desert eagle - everything. But I could see that wasn't working. So I restarted the level and went after her. I tried to shoot out those red pentagon lights or press them, but they were non-intereactive. Finally I got to the top ledge and jumped across and tried to rush her, but she kept blowing Lara back with a force field. Now I was lost. I went back down to look for a switch maybe I missed. Finally I found the fuse box at the top. I was too busy looking at the helicpoter before and getting to the other side to notice it. I got there and hoped I didn't need an access card. Phew! I shot it and it blew out. That annoying lady with the taunting laugh finally shut up and vanished. Then Lara got electrocuted on the platform with the 4th inventory item. So I pressed the off switch and got it. But that ended the level! So I went back and looked for the missing secret and found it. I thought the level would take at least a week, but I finished it in 2 hours. Now I'm in Antartica.

Anyway, it was a very tough boss battle. Others here were talking about it, so I knew it would be difficult and it certainly was. At least there were hiding places for Lara to rest. Anyway, glad to be back after 3 weeks of hard luck!

Damn forum back-up. Necessary evil I suppose.
This was a longer post but I lost it. Oh well.

Good to see you 'back'. Let us know how you go.

I'm in Antartic right now. There's 2 ways to go. I went to the second shack first way in the back, but then decided to start with the big ship instead. Something told me I should start with the ship first - and then go to those sheds. That water sure is cold. Glad I saved all my med-kits!

Yeah you did the right thing. On the PC I think when you save you come back with full health, is that true? That could be useful later on longer swims.

As I said in the other post you wrote this in:

It's in the London level 'Luds Gate'
Don't be in a hurry and go there after India to get it though - do Nevada first.

Didn't know which post you would read first so I've done both.
