K well I just started a new French class on Friday and I have hardly any French experience or background. Could someone that is good at French please do me the favor or translating this for me into French for my teacher? :D

'The quotation is a riddle in which a boy or girl learns many languages out of need for communication. He learns Italian, Spanish, English, German and French. I think he learns French to speak with his own French teacher'

'In French I'm quite weak. My vocalbulary is poor and I don't have any experience except for one year in junior high and three in elementary. I know that it'll be a challenge to continue in French 30 but I wish to put forth a great deal of effort and commitment to complete this course. My goals in speaking French are to travel and hopefully live in France for awhile after I graduate. I know that learning a language has many benifits and I look forward to learning many other as I live life.

Okay... let's try. Hope I understood correctly that the text between quotes is what you want translated, and that this one will do:

Right... sorry. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif Here goes:

Hi Rogue http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Learning a foreign language can be an amazing, sometimes frustrating experience. I know it can be awkward to try and wing it, especially in the written form. But just give it the old college try first. If you want post your effort on the forum and ask how it sounds. I am sure you are much better than you are giving yourself credit for. I made several mistakes myself when writing essays, but I always got a good laugh out of it. ;)

You're welcome, Rogue. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Isabella is right - it's worth giving it a try on your own. That's the only way to really overcome any difficulties.

Hey, Rogue! Is your teacher going to think you're a linguistic expert, now that you've translated it flawlessly!! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I like to learn new languages. But sometimes it can get on your nerve badly..like for me, I take Spanish which could sometimes be very difficult. But I find it interesting to learn..but I don't think I will be able to learn French LOL.

You'll have to suffer a case of amnesia now, Rogue. Get somebody to bop you on the head, so you can forget all your French! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/pillow.gif
